¡Una cita perfecta con mi amor! 💖 [ESP-ENG]

¡Hola gente linda de Liketu! Espero que estén súper bien. Quiero contarles que estas últimas semanas, he estado participando en la Vibes Web3 Music Competition. Por eso, y por algunas cosas más, he estado a full. Pero desde hace días, quiero contarles sobre una cita perfecta que tuve con mi amor @leonardo.audio el pasado 14 de febrero.
Días previos a la fecha, vimos la noticia de que la empresa Meyer Sound ofrecería una demostración de su nuevo equipo de audio, llamado Panther. Este equipo fue utilizado el 12 de febrero para el concierto de Luis Miguel en el Estadio Monumental Simón Bolívar, donde seguía instalado todo el sonido, las luces y la tarima. La empresa permitiría esta demostración de manera gratuita el 14 de febrero. 🎶🎤🎧
Como pueden darse cuenta, la fecha coincidió con el Día del Amor y la Amistad, por lo que se nos dio la oportunidad de celebrar bonito y, además, vivir una experiencia increíble. Por eso, esta cita fue perfecta.
Sobre el evento: constaba de dos turnos, uno de 2:00 a 5:00 p.m. y otro de 5:00 a 7:00 p.m. Nosotros planificamos asistir al primer turno. Sin embargo, cuando nos encontramos, nos dimos cuenta de que nos enviaron un correo de confirmación del evento, donde mencionaron que luego de la demostración de audio del segundo turno también se daría un show de luces. Por lo tanto, decidimos ir al segundo turno.
Para cuando tomamos esta decisión, eran la 1:30 p.m., así que no nos quedaba de otra que esperar algunas horas para luego ir al Estadio Monumental. Paseamos un rato y caminamos hasta Ipsfa, donde esperamos haciendo una de las cosas que más nos gusta: ¡COMER! Jajaja. Esta vez, tuvimos que decidir entre sushi o Burger King, y este último tenía una promo que nos ganó. La promo del Día de los Enamorados estuvo buenísima. Incluía dos Whoppers con sus papas fritas, bebida y dos Royal Pie. ¡Muy bueno, muy bueno!
Luego, cuando ya se acercaba la hora del evento, tomamos la ruta de camionetas que van desde el Terminal La Bandera hasta La Rinconada, y allí caminamos un montón para dar con la zona de carga del Monumental. Fue una gran y calurosa caminata, pero como íbamos eufóricos por el evento, no le dimos tanta importancia. 😄
Llegamos al estadio y sentimos demasiada emoción al poder estar allí. Sinceramente, no me explico por qué había poca gente en este tipo de evento, pero supongo que no todos consideran que esto es algo importante.
En fin, nos sentamos a escuchar la explicación de lo que era este nuevo equipo de audio para conciertos en vivo de esta magnitud, incluyendo las características físicas del equipo. También presenciamos la demostración con música seleccionada, que progresivamente mostraba la capacidad del equipo.
Estuvimos cerca de la tarima y el sonido era increíble, incluso sin usar los bajos. Nos invitaron a movernos por todo el espacio (cosas de ingenieros de sonido, productores musicales y personas como yo, que estoy tan inmersa en estas áreas además de ser músico y cantante). Así logramos escuchar cuáles eran los puntos donde el sonido no llegaba o cómo llegaba, etc. También subimos a los puestos más altos para escuchar desde ese punto, y wow, es increíble la potencia de esta nueva herramienta.
Notamos que realmente estaban probando hasta dónde llegaba el equipo, tanto que el nivel de volumen al que llegó el sonido superó la cantidad que nuestros oídos pueden soportar sin dañarse. Por suerte, esto solo fue por breves momentos, y sabemos cuidarnos un poco para no sufrir consecuencias graves.
A pesar de ello, estuvimos muy felices en todo momento, disfrutando y sorprendiéndonos con todo lo que escuchábamos.
Para terminar, ofrecieron un show de luces con visuales increíbles que no pude capturar, pero les prometo que todo el espectáculo estuvo genial, aunque fue más breve que la demostración del equipo de audio.
En fin, fue un día genial, una experiencia que podría considerarse trabajo, pero esto es lo que amamos hacer, y por eso es algo muy emocionante y no lo consideramos como trabajo para nosotros. 😄

A perfect day with my love! 💖

Hello lovely people of Liketu! I hope you’re doing great. I want to tell you that these past few weeks, I’ve been participating in the Vibes Web3 Music Competition. Because of this, and a few other things, I’ve been super busy. But for a few days now, I’ve been wanting to share with you about a perfect date I had with my love, @leonardo.audio, on February 14th.
In the days leading up to the 14th, we saw the news that the company Meyer Sound would be offering a demonstration of their new audio equipment called Panther. This equipment was used on February 12th for Luis Miguel’s concert at the Estadio Monumental Simón Bolívar, where all the sound, lights, and stage were still set up. The company allowed this demonstration to be free on February 14th. 🎶🎤🎧
As you can see, the date coincided with Valentine's Day, so we had the opportunity to celebrate beautifully and, moreover, to experience something incredible. That's why this appointment was perfect.
Regarding the event: it consisted of two sessions, one from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and another from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. We initially planned to attend the first session. However, when we met up, we realized that we had received a confirmation email for the event, mentioning that after the audio demonstration in the second session, there would also be a light show. Therefore, we decided to go to the second session.
By the time we made this decision, it was 1:30 p.m., so we had no choice but to wait a few hours before heading to the Monumental Stadium. We took a stroll and walked to Ipsfa, where we waited doing one of our favorite things: EATING! Haha. This time, we had to choose between sushi or Burger King, and the latter had a promo that won us over. The Valentine's Day promo was fantastic. It included two Whoppers with fries, a drink, and two Royal Pies. Very, very good!
Later, as the event time approached, we took the route of small buses from Terminal La Bandera to La Rinconada, and from there, we walked quite a bit to find the loading area at the Monumental Stadium. It was a hot and sweaty walk, but because we were so excited about the event, we didn't mind too much. 😄
We arrived at the stadium and felt tremendous excitement to be there. Honestly, I can't explain why there were so few people at this type of event, but I suppose not everyone considers it important.
Anyway, we sat down to listen to the explanation of what this new audio equipment was for live concerts of this magnitude, including its physical characteristics. We also witnessed the demonstration with selected music, progressively showcasing the equipment's capabilities.
Being close to the stage, the sound was incredible, even without using the bass. It was a very, very loud sound. They invited us to move around the space (typical behavior for sound engineers, music producers, and people like me who are deeply immersed in these areas, in addition to being a musician and singer). This allowed us to hear where the sound didn't reach or how it arrived, etc.
We also climbed to the highest seats to listen from that vantage point, and wow, the power of this new tool is amazing.
We noticed that they were truly testing the limits of the equipment. In fact, the volume level reached by the sound exceeded what our ears can handle without damage. Fortunately, this only lasted for brief moments, and we know how to take care of ourselves to avoid serious consequences.
Despite that, we were very happy throughout, enjoying and being surprised by everything we heard.
To wrap up, they put on a light show with incredible visuals that I couldn't capture, but I promise you the entire show was fantastic, even though it was shorter than the audio equipment demonstration.
All in all, it was a fantastic day, an experience that could be considered work, but this is what we love to do, and that's why it's something very exciting and we don't consider it as work for us. 😄
