Galerie Dior- a Paris highlight BB🐝

Within easy walking distance of Eiffel Tower and Champs Elysee, The Galerie Dior is the perfect place to visit with a teenage girl!

When my granddaughter was asked what sites she wanted to visit in Paris, this was the first one she chose. She had seen photos on Instagram. Tickets were reasonable, only 12 euros for reserved tickets that needed to be purchased ahead of time online.

They said that one of the first things they noticed was that despite there being a lot of people, almost no one was talking, no noise, everyone was enjoying the beauty in silence.

Christian Dior’s reputation as one of the most important couturiers of the twentieth century was launched in 1947 with his very first collection, in which he introduced the “New Look.” Featuring rounded shoulders, a cinched waist, and very full skirt, the New Look celebrated ultra-femininity and opulence in women’s fashion. After years of military and civilian uniforms, sartorial restrictions and shortages, Dior offered not merely a new look but a new outlook.

Not only are the fashions beautiful, but so are the displays! Definitely worth a visit!

Wow! Come to think of it, I never aspired for that. I just marvel at how the clothes are made to fit so nicely on a body... making it seamless! I love clothes from the 1920s!!!

Amazing display they have at the museum. I've never been to it, but as a guy I guess it wasn't the highest item on my to do list. It's beautiful! Now I see it's very worth a visit, that was really cool. I bet she loved it!
