Kamehame..Firebolt!!

Ulrich was seated beside the window while reading a Japanese Comic series. He was so enthralled by it and it was his 4th book of the day. He was just introduced to manga just a few days ago and he immediately fell in love with the Japanese comics.

He was reading a publication of Jump and he was really into the Shounen genre. He likes how an underpowered protagonist gets his way to victory thanks to his friends, perseverance, and commitment. He believes that hard work should pay off big time. He could relate to it too because he made his way to a network of spies and mercenaries when he started as a low runner back in the hoods.

"Hey Ulrich Scavo, let's go. We have a mission." the Serpentine Spy came into the room with the Living Lava by its side.

"What mission? I'm still reading. Can't that wait?" Ulrich replied completely annoyed.

"Drop that stupid cartoon already. Pyre is waiting downstairs. Let's go."

"Dang it, this boy was just about to learn a super technique passed down from generation to generation. You really know how to ruin a climax." Ulrich stood up and they all descended the stairs.

"You all should call me, Scavo Firebolt" Ulrich said.

"What? That sounds cheesy, where'd you get that?" Serpentine Spy said.

"Just do so. Stop messing with my vibe. I'm Scavo Firebolt" Ulrich insisted.

"Darn it."

They all got in the car and Pyre drove off immediately.

It was a simple clean-up job and the small team was composed of a small number of monsters. They were chosen for speed and efficiency.

Pyre was chosen to be in command. He gives additional speed to his comrade allowing them to attack faster. And of course, Ulrich, their main attacker benefits so much from this buff.

In the first position, the Living Lava takes in the tank role.

image.png

The Living Lava suits the tank role. It has 2 armor points and 6 HP. It also has the ability Shield which reduces the damage taken from melee and ranged attacks. He's got the power to hold down the enemies at bay while the attackers like Scavo Firebolt and Serpentine Spy.

In the second position, the Serpentine Spy remains alert.

image.png

He gives a good complement to the Scavo Firebolt's attack. The Scavo can do damage from range while the Serpentine Spy sneaks into the ranks and try to hit the monster from the enemy's side with the lowest HP. It is good in flocking out the weakest link from the opponent.

In the last position, the Scavo Firebolt stretches his hands while trying out poses from the Manga that he was reading.

image.png

Scavo Firebolt has a decent set of stats. A good amount of HP at 4, a good damage as well with 2 damage points for a ranged-type attack. It also has a pretty fast reaction time at 2. And of course, it becomes even faster with Pyre's buff.

The bunch arrived at an abandoned warehouse. It was the intended target and as soon as they got out of the vehicle they fell into formation and as they entered the warehouse, they made contact with some hostiles.

There were some monsters inside and they were also ready to die to resist being captured. And it was a clear case of battling fire with fire.

Flares and sparks fly everywhere. Both parties exchanged fire and they were caught up in a shootout.

They stuck to their formation as they were pros. Even though it meant losing Serpentine Spy in the process.

"No!!! Spy!!!!" Scavo Firebolt exclaimed.

"I'm going to save him. No man gets left behind. We're family." he said.

The Living Lava shook his head and he knows that Scavo was just heavily influenced by all the Manga he was reading. He grabbed him by the collar. And played along.

"No, we are all soldiers here. The mission comes above all else. It is our top priority. Let's move out. The best thing to do now is to avenge his death and make sure that the mission is a success. Don't let his sacrifice be in vain."

After hearing the speech, Scavo's eyes lit up and he felt the heroism inside of him swell. He gathered his energy and concentrated the magic between his palms. He was like gathering a ball of fire between them...

"Ka.....me.....ha....me......Firebolt!!!" and he let out the fiery beam toward the enemies and they were all caught in it and they were torched.

That was one amazing Firebolt.

Of course, if you didn't enjoy my little narrative regarding the battle, you can see it in beautiful 720p here:

Also, if you want to see it play by play and inside the game, you can use this link here: https://splinterlands.com?p=battle&id=sl_fa2721151db7b00cc45acba5bf508647&ref=rbshinichi . The link also serves as a referral link if you still don't have a Splinterlands account yet. Let's go and join in on the fun.

Although I was a bit outnumbered, I was able to win with a simple strategy. Hit fast, and hit hard. I used Pyre as a summoner so the monsters could attack faster. The additional speed really works wonders. I don't think that I will change anything given the same circumstances.

I am also in awe of what the Scavo Firebolt can do. Although he doesn't have any special abilities, he's quite a decent monster and a well-rounded attacker. I like him, not only his energetic name but the fact that he only costs 4 mana points, that's pretty convenient.
