The Cebu City Philippines Temple - Quick Tour
Last weekend was different, I had my sister with me. She came here to Cebu with her family to visit the temple as well. Our schedule to get inside was in the afternoon.
The Cebu City Philippines Temple was dedicated on June 2010. Dedicated meaning it is ready for full operation for all members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints who met the standards to get inside and perform sacred ordinances. This temple is just one of more than a hundred temples around the world.
It was also here that my husband and I were married for all time and eternity in December 2010.
After performing ordinances inside, we took photos outside.
I can only show you photos outside of it because it is prohibited to take pictures inside. This temple is located at Gorordo Avenue, Lahug, Cebu City Philippines.
Me with my daughters and my sister with her son.
My husband took these photos.
I took this photo in another occasion.
The temple is situated in on a hill. And it is inside a complex, we call it the temple complex. Inside the complex, there are two chapels were members do the Sunday services and other activities. There is also the Patron House. It is were members from other places stay when they go visit the temple.
Patron House on the left side.
That is a chapel on our left.
It was a great temple day for me and my sister as well as our children. They got to play when we were inside with my husband as their babysitter. :D
If you happen to pass by Cebu City, let me know. I'll give you a quick tour inside the temple complex.
I hope you enjoyed seeing the photos and short video. This is my entry for @aseanhive's challenge. You might want to check it out here
Until next time!
Love,
Met

Ang ganda po dyan. Saan po banda yan sa Cebu City?
Sa Lahug po.
Ok noted. Pag puhon balik na mi diha sa Cebu, amo na suruyan.
I used to live in western Colorado on the Utah border, and also spent a lot of time Utah, so I am very familiar with LDS folk 😁. When I began reading this post, I thought "Wait a minute, you can't take pics inside. 🤔" But even without interior shots you still made this an awesome post. Anyhow, the exterior architecture of this place is pretty awe-inspiring anyhow, and I love the landscaping too. This place is obviously well-taken care of by some dedicated people. Thanks for joining the challenge.
Yes there are many LDS Temples in Utah and there are two temples in Colorado too! 😊
Yes the place is well maintained. I love visiting this place. 😊 I'm glad you like my post. 😊
