Date and Halo - halo

A few months ago I purchased a second hand laptop from a well known second hand laptop store here in Cebu. Just after we brought the unit at home, we noticed that there seemed to be a problem with its speakers. Since it was still under warranty, we brought it back to the store for check up and possible replacement.

This post actually is not about the laptop 😂 but our visits to the laptop store has given me and my husband opportunity to be alone. Living our 3 girls at home.

In one occasion, (after several visits to the store for my laptop) we decided to dropped by Chowking. The food chain is just in the same building with the store.

We ordered two of our favorites, the Halo-halo and chicharap. While waiting for our order I took few snaps of my husband and me. ☺️ We talked about so many things and soon after our food arrived.

Isn't this delicious to look? Wait until you taste it! 😁

Halo-halo! For those who are not familiar with this cold dessert, it is made of shaved ice or crushed ice, jelly, kaong, sweetend beans, jackfruit, ube halaya, leche flan, ice cream, pinipig with milk. (I think there's more ingredient that I forgot to mention. 😁) Basically it is a mix of all these ingredients! If you haven't tried this one, then I recommend you try! You won't regret it. ☺️

We paired the Halo-halo with Chicharap or Prawn crackers. We had a great time. Chitchatting just the two of us. I love times like this. When our children were smaller, we seldom had time alone because we don't have someone to look after them when we are away.

But now that they can atleast manage to be on there own for a couple of hours, my husband and I can go to places or events just the two of us.

We have come to a point in our lives that our children are now starting to mature. We are moving to the next level of parenting too.

Going back to my laptop, since that day at Chowking, we have not gone back to the laptop store because it's working well at this point in time. ☺️

In conclusion, as a word of advice to couples, spend quality time with your partners. Go for a short walk or do things that both of you love. Simple activities that will surely make our relationship us couples stronger and better.
