Visiting Pato manila

Yesterday we came to a place named Pato manila "Manila duck", a small kitchen dedicated to elaborate duck-based food.

The attending personal was amazing, explaining all of the menu, the ingredients, the drinks, how they elaborate the food, and they looked happy working there.

We ordered a couple of craft beer, the taste of the first in the left was an stout style, dark, strong flavor, toasted-like, meanwhile the second was more light in the flavor, but with great body in the mouth and some citric.

The menu have only five dishes, maybe sounds not so great, but when a place makes few dishes, mean they do them with lots of care, the pices were not expensive, each one around $4USD

We ordered four of the five dishes, the sauces were included. Going clockwise at the 12, some "tacos kim" in flour based tortilla, duck, onion, teriyaki sauce, cucumber and other herbs. The second plate were "spring-rolls" filled with carrot, cucumber, soybean germ, ginger and duck. The third plate were "wontons" filled with duck and some carrot and the fourth plate was "tortas de pato" a baked bread filled with duck.
The overal taste was well balanced considering that this was a food fusion with oriental flavors (sweet and sour) with the spice of mexican food. The duck has a strong flavor compared with chicken, and a little greasy, not too much, but that make it very soft.

Overall, we loved this place, definitevely we will come back.
