Friends forever . Week 161

In our walk through life we find many people who come to us not by chance, but who have a mission in our life or we in theirs, these people are angels who become eternal friends, friends we never forget, friends with whom we feel a connection that has no explanation of how wonderful it is. This is what friendship is like, to meet people who connect with us without having any kind of blood ties, nor any kind of love like that of a couple. It is a connection full of understanding, understanding, unconditional support, fun, showing up and always being there when we need them.

These people called friends are found in different stages of life, some stay, others leave, the most beautiful friendships are the ones we make as children and last over time, I say this from my own experience. I have a friend, I call her my eternal friend because we have been friends since we were 6 years old. I met her when I went to ballet school and from there, when we were little girls, we started a friendship of more than 36 years, and the incredible thing is that even though we are not together all the time, that connection, that link remains as special and strong as when we were young, even stronger because of the joy of knowing each other since we were little girls and having been part of each other's lives.

We have kept our friendship through the years because we always know that we are there for each other, we share special moments, sitting and talking about our childhood antics, our family, our children, we can spend hours and hours talking, laughing and we don't realise how long it takes.

Likewise I have found very special people in my life who have become great friends for me, sharing the same passions, and always being there when we need each other, feeling that sincere friendship.

Having friends makes our days different, because knowing that they understand you, that they understand you, that they enjoy doing the same things is priceless in this life. To maintain a friendship over time, is not only to receive but also to give, is to be there in good times and bad, is to call you when you least expect it. It is to come to your home and share a delicious coffee with a pleasant conversation, it is to listen to your problems and worries, it is to feel happy for your successes and to support you in your problems.
