Ever Wonder Why So Many People Fail

It is quite simple they could be just like me and followed the wrong people at the wrong time. Russell Brunson would have us believe that a funnel is an online capture page that allows you to give away a product on the front end and have up to 4 upsells on the backend.

The truth is a funnel is much more complex than that. It is a mini business plan. This plan will entail from start to finish how you go about gaining the sale. In the end, it is all about making that online income.

Step 1: Identify My Ideal Audience

My ideal audience is a person very similar to myself. Someone that is either self-employed or would like to be. This person should like to collect items, enjoy art, movies, etc...

The reason why I want the person to be similar to myself is that I know myself well. Talking to me is very easy as we know what we like. If you had a huge collection of ceramic figurines and would like to monetize a portion of it, I am the person you want to talk to as I have been dealing in collectibles for a very long time.

Step 2: Interact With Audience & Build Relationships

Do not play the numbers game. I have tried this in the past and it always ends in heartbreak and pain, plus debt, the polar opposite of profit.

Build a relationship with people through blogging, live videos, pre-recorded videos, email newsletters.

** A word about email newsletters**

I will be building a newsletter subscriber list. My main vehicle will be Listnerds. I will build relationships with everyone on my list. The worst thing you can do is treat the people that have taken the time to subscribe to your list and read your emails, and blogs like numbers. I am striving to build relationships with everyone I interact with.

Step 3: Define the Funnel

I am not an expert so the best thing I can do is share my funnel with you. Keep in mind I still may not have this right but I am working through it.

My funnel

I will teach people that are interested how to use reselling on platforms like eBay to support their dream business. I will build a lead capture page with a lead magnet to entice sign-ups to my email newsletter.

Through the newsletter, I will build relationships with my subscribers by offering them value and friendship.

I do not have any specifics to offer at this time, because I am still pounding out the details. In the next day or two, the funnel should be complete and we can work on promoting and tracking.
