Praise be to God,it's a wonderful thing in God's presence today with brother Elisoriano. I will be sharing below what I learnt from our day 4 Mass Indoctrination held today been the 13th of January,2022. By bro Eli

*Here are the important points I learnt from God's words discussed in the zoom meeting

First,our today's discussion was all aboutPrayer and it contents

Brother Elisoriano,made us understand that,prayer is a request or a petition of what we need from God and for our prayers to be accepted,we need to have a pure heart. And depart from iniquities such as vices, gambling, hatred,theft, strife, envyings, and murdering from worldly act of the flesh.

The content of prayer are as follows
*Our prayer should be simple and straight to the point,
*Our prayers should not be in form of story telling,
*Our prayers should not be repeated.
*When praying,we should have a pure heart. I.e total abstainance from sin.

When should we pray?
We were meant to understand that,as a Christian,we should learn how to pray to God weather in difficulty or in comfort. Not only when we need something from God. According to the parable of Jesus in the book of Luck 18:1-6 what this verse is telling us is to pray day and night that is non stop. We should pray without ceasing.

What is the meaning of praying without ceasing?

11 Timothy 1:3 made us understand that the meaning of praying without ceasing is to pray day and night.

We were meant to understand that,it is very important to pray before we sleep thanking God for the whole day that pass and commit the night unto his hands. And when we wake up we should pray and commit the new day unto his hands as well.

How can we be sure our prayers has been accepted?
2 Timothy 2:22 made us understand that,one who call upon God with a pure heart prayers will be accepted. It is necessary that our heart is void of offence towards God and towards man. The only thing that can defile a man are murders adultery,theft ,false witness, blaspheming. E.t.c

In conclusion,we need to purify our heart for our prayers to be heard.

My old belief that were improve by listening to the zoom meeting

Initial,I don't know that when couples are having issues and one of them prayed to God without settling the prayers will not be accepted.

How the study has make me a better person that I can use in my daily life

Now I know that, when ever am having issues with my husband,I should try and make peace with him before praying so that my prayers will not be in vain.
