Digital Portrait Drawing - A Step By Step Process

Here is my new digital art. It's a portrait drawing of a beautiful blond lady with long hairs. In this piece, I will show you the step by step processes on how I achieve this.

The work was done with AutoDesk sketchbook application using scribble style. Below are my detailed steps:

The first step is to get the figure. This is the posture and I call it the skeleton.

After achieving the above, you can now move to adding features. The face features, hair lines and others.

Then, first stage of sketching commences. They are light and simple. This was achieved using scribble style.

Now the darker tones are being added. It consists of the blending, adding of shades and building of forms

The above step was completed here. More darker tones were added.
