I became confused and I told my husband to spray the plants where there were lots of pests that were destroying the plants

This is a gourd plant that I planted, the same age as the water gourd, but this gourd plant doesn't grow the same as the gourd plant, unfortunately it grows quickly. My husband always waters it every afternoon so that this plant grows better and I haven't given fertilizer to it, I think later. In the afternoon I had time to apply fertilizer to my plants, they grew faster and looked good
