The animals we raise for some purposes for people to have great access to them easily and either for consumption or for one experiment or the other we have the snails. Here in the West Africa, Nigeria we have them in mass most especially when we just got some rainfall drops. The way we so much have them here is very massive. People go outside their comfort zone for hours in search for this animal called Snails. And afterwards, they go to market to sell them for exchange for money. There are several ways of sourcing for the snails in Nigeria. You can source for it by going into the local market for Purchase, you can go into the Woods for collection after rainfall, you can also get them involved through exchange for a particular item. I have witnessed so many occasions when the rainfall falls but not just that alone but rainfall for hours. There are Real true Africa giant snails here for those who know them from a far or near. They are rugged and very big. Not just that alone but also easy to manage them.

• Keeping the snails takes nothing but the true reality of keeping animals. First of all, you need a very good and healthy place to be called their habitat. What you do to make the so called name Snail survive quickly is to provide them a healthy lifestyle. I have experiment so many conditions for them before now and some of them survived it while some of them went dead after few weeks. What am saying in essence is that, you need to get them a healthy lifestyle for great production season.

• When you start from few numbers of them, they start to reproduce gradually and multiply in numbers. So. You need to decide how big you want the space to be at first so as For you to enjoy them all. When they lay eggs, they bury their eggs into the soil immediately they start. They can lay up to 15 eggs, 20 eggs, 25 eggs or more. Some of the eggs may be dead while some will eventually get hatch. To a reasonable extents thunder striking egg them too practically speaking.

Feeding the snails is absolutely easy, but you need to be extremely careful and be guided on this simply because, if you add lot of food drops into their environment, it may leads to environmental pollution which will affect their growth and development. Feed moderately, add alot of water. When the time comes, you can also add eggshell to their environment for easy productivity.

You can give them weed plant or feed concentrate on few daily basis. What I do in my own case is that I feed them with feed concentrate at least, three times in a week. It will boost their growing sense and make them to be resistance to any diseases or attack by insects, mosquitoes, termite etc.

• Leading from one section of snail farm to another makes a real true farming season. Some people are in search for them and for them to raise them too by all cost. They are also fragile to handle or else you may contaminate the whole farm. When you raise them,they have so many advantages such as giving the body raw Calcium after consuming it on a regular basis.
