HAPPY NEW YEAR TO THE COMMUNITY, In agricultural mindset the keeping of seed is highly essential and necessary which means that you need a lot of good healthy and viable seed to be stored. One of the mistakes that people make is that some of us called farmer do not even store seed at all. Not to talk of getting the seed ready for planting the next cultivating season. Some of us also do not care if what we have is still healthy for cultivation. So there are a lot of questions to be asked personally before you jump into cultivation of crops in agricultural mindset. There are ways by which you can store your seed and make sure that they are still intact for planting.

Sometimes ago I also made that mistake before I try my best to put two heads together. Then I found a solution to it. There are so many challenges that a farmer face before the cultivation of crop, during the cultivation of crops, and also after the cultivation of crop which marks the end of the planting season. Giving a solution to the seed problem is one thing we need to look out for because when we have dead seed all in our stored container or pouches, or something it may lead to a lot of farm disaster. So we need to be conscious of the fact that they seed in agriculture play a major role to a successful cultivation of crops. There are so many places where we can source for a very good seed of different types of green vegetables or any type of crop. When the time comes I also go round to buy more seed in the case of Maize seed and some other new SEED. All I enjoy is that I should always have the latest seed formation for cultivation so that the end result will be massive in production and it will also be resistant to diseases along the line.

• When your seed are extremely dried up, it also play a good and extremely best major role in planting. While I was in the university we did a project on seed planting which we all made the mistake of planting semi dried seed.
  We waited for more than 3 weeks we could not find anything grow up or sprout out from the soil. So after a while we went back to the round table in the laboratory section then we were also exposed to giving a very dried seed a trial for the same planting experiment. The next month we went back to the field individually with the very dried seed. Instantly when we prepared the bed section. we planted it and within the range of 7 to 10 days we already recorded the first sprout out of the seed. So ever since then I already marked it up to always store and plant a very dry seed. Although sometimes you can give it a trial to plant semi dried seed and it will turn up for the best. This is one of the local chill pepper seed which I got from a farmer colleague.

These are extremely dried eggplants seed with natural remedy. The natural remedy I mean it is dried indoor without any sunlight..

• The tomato species of different type which also ranges from hybrid source. I already planted some of the seed and they did not germinate at all so I will keep on planting till I see the results.

This is how the watermelon seed looks like although I planted the watermelon some previous season and its really germinated and I harvested it. It was sweet as ever before.

• The cucumber is not really a common type of crop or plants you will see in western part of Nigeria. I can bet you thousands of people have not seen this with great Seed in it. But when you buy a very good seat from a reliable source it will always give you what you want.

I use this to combine all the seed together for storage as well. It is a very good air tight pouch.
