Another Brazilian soccer team in the blockchain universe: Curitiba FC
EN
I'm bringing news of the Brazilian adoption of cryptoactives.
There is a popular saying in Brazil that goes:
"Brazil is the soccer country"
Of course it is a great reductionism to reduce Brazil to soccer, but it's undeniable how popular this sport is throughout Brazil.
So it turns out to be interesting for big soccer clubs became the entry point for thousands of people in this blockchain universe.
To presenting cryptoactives to a large part of the population through soccer, it is an interesting source of revenue and investments for the clubs themselves.
Now it's Curitiba F. C. turn to use the rights linked to FIFA's Solidarity Mechanism, tokenizing contracts to collect future transactions. As did brazilians clubs like Vasco e Cruzeiro. Different from token fans like Corinthians did.
How?!
Athletes formed on the basis of the club who have already been sold, when transferred, the forming club receives a % of the transaction. Curitiba F. C. intends to distribute this amount received among investors in its token.
It's a risky investment, as you never know if a player is going to get hurt, or not play anymore for some reason, if he's going to keep playing at a high level, or even if he'll be sold at some point. But when transferred these players tend to have very expensive transactions in the soccer market.
The players that Curitiba FC intends to put in this package:
- Matheus Cunha: Olympic Champion for the Brazilian National Team and Atletico Madrid player;
- Rodrigo Guth: Atalanta – ITA;
- Dodo: Shaktar Donestski – UKR;
- Marlos: Shakhtar Donetsk and the Ukrainian National Team;
- Vitor Carvalho: Gil Vicente – POR;
- Yan Couto: Braga – POR;
- Igor Jesus: Shabab Al Ahli and voted best young athlete in the UAE.
The platform used for these contracts will be Liqi, which also made the Cruzeiro token.
Startup to keep an eye on, led by Daniel Coquieri, who is the founder of the BitcoinTrade exchange, one of the largest exchanges in Latin America.
Thanks for the reading! See you in the next post's!

"O Brasil é o país do futebol"
- Matheus Cunha: Campeão Olímpico pela Seleção Brasileira e jogador do Atlético de Madrid;
- Rodrigo Guth: Atalanta – ITA;
- Dodô: Shaktar Donestski – UKR;
- Marlos: Shakhtar Donetsk e Seleção Ucraniana;
- Vitor Carvalho: Gil Vicente – POR;
- Yan Couto: Braga – POR;
