A yellow spider is a spider that has a yellow color on its body. This yellow color can vary from bright yellow to dark yellow, depending on the species of spider. Several well-known species of yellow spiders include the golden yellow spider (Argiope aurantia) and the yellow sac spider (Cheiracanthium punctorium). Yellow spiders are generally found in various habitats such as parks, fields or forests. They usually make nests made of spider threads to trap or protect themselves from predators. Yellow spiders tend to be active predators, feeding on small insects and the Hive's small companions.
