The insect Phratora vitellinae isPhratora vitellinaea type of leaf beetle belonging to the Chrysomelidae family. This beetle is also known as the willow leaf beetle and is often found in the Northern Hemisphere, especially in Europe and Asia.

Phratora vitellinae has a body size of about 7-9 mm. Its body is metallic green with black stripes across the forewings. The back of its body has red or orange indentations that distinguish it from other types of leaf beetles. Phratora vitellinae also has long, thin antennae.

This insect has a life cycle similar to other insects in the Chrysom family, Hive friends.
