@mariannewest's Freewrite Writing Prompt Day 2025. Prompt: empty document

Lilian is a young school girl who has a passion for writing. Her biggest motivation has been top terrific writer's as she gets inspirations from authors' existing works and experiences.

She has been a writer and her short novels have given her public recognition. She had always dreamt of writing a great piece of art that would give her global recognition.

As she sat on the couch, she stared at the empty document on her touchpad screen. She had taken her days trying to put ideas together to develop her storyline but there was no inspiration.

She needed an environment that would help her thoughts and the only thing that came to her mind was swimming. She left for the swimming pool and as she jumped in, she closed her eyes and took a long
breath.

She came to imagine and lots of ideas were chipping in. She saw characters unable to voice out their feelings. These characters had distinctive stories to tell but someone needs to give them a voice.

Lillian realized that she can only inspire by starting with a word. Just as she wrote a word on the document, she began flowing with other words.
