LOH 150 -| My Woman of History
I have so many women in my country that I admire so much. They are an inspiration to me and I look up to being like them one day.
One of them I will identify in this post is Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala. Her leadership skills and achievements have made her a popular figure loved and identified by many.

Just little about her for the sake of friends that might not know her. Dr Ngozi is a figure in the realm of international finance and diplomacy. She stands as the first African to serve as the Director-General in the World Trade Organization. Not just the first African but also the first woman ever. She's a woman whose positive impact reaches different countries.
She has played a great role in shaping Nigeria and global economic policies and proffering solutions to difficult development situations. Apart from that, her fight for equality and fair justice and her emphasis on empowering women were evidenced at the World Trade Organization. Her leadership role is one many wish to embody. This woman has been my inspiration, making me stay active and dedicated to pursuing my future.
Like we often hear, if you say education is expensive, try ignorance. I know her journey started from somewhere, and education played a vital role in her achievements and her competence and commitment have been impactful on the world.
Ohhh @marynn what pride, for you and your Country. Thank you for sharing your story. Until another time :)
He is a great character in your country. I have already read other posts from people who have talked about her. Just to be proud of her.
She's a great woman.
