Staying strong and healthy from January to December is indeed something worth celebrating. The daily hustle for sustenance, despite the toil and stress involved, is a remarkable achievement.

The awareness that the year is slowly coming to a wrap, and we are on the brink of entering a new season, brings an extraordinary sense of joy. The festive holiday season is a special time when meticulous preparations are made to ensure that every member of the household fully embraces the Christmas spirit.

For me, every Christmas holiday brings great joy and merriment. Sometimes, this holiday comes without elaborate planning. It might be an invitation from a friend to come together and celebrate the spirit of Christmas.

I vividly recall last year's festive holiday, which was a relatively low-key affair. Personally, I hadn't made grand preparations, just the usual ritual of preparing a variety of dishes, going out to admire Christmas decorations, and capturing moments with pictures before returning home. However, this year promises to be distinct.

Our family has grown in size since last year, with more wonderful souls joining us. It was only last month that we started crafting plans for a grand December celebration. My mum as usually have planned for a family reunion.

Sometimes, embracing something new is the ideal way to enjoy life in a grand style. Last year, I had a fantastic festive holiday, although without my family. It was a collective end-of-year outing with a group of friends. However, including my family this year will add more vibrancy to the celebration.

It was only recently that I pondered on something new that can be an addition I could introduce to make this festive season uniquely my own. The thought of embracing the Christmas spirit by bringing smiles to the faces of my family members in every little way I could.

While I'm still crafting elaborate plans in that regard, I have taken decisive steps in purchasing presents for my nieces and nephews. Choosing to be a giver rather than a receiver can bring happiness to numerous faces.

Also, I have planned on a surprise pool party, it's going to be a gift from me to my family. I'm well aware of our collective love for swimming, so organizing a family trip to a swimming pool is an unexpected and delightful surprise that I believe will be cherished by all. Knowing that I have a month until the festive holiday arrives, I have made all the necessary inquiries about the hotel and its requirements.

The hotel has a policy against bringing in any outside food items, requiring guests to purchase everything they need on-site. It will be even more surprising when, after an enjoyable swimming session, we are guided to a family table adorned with a prominent message: "Merry Christmas and a Prosperous New Year to you, Beloved Family, from Sweet Mary." While this may not be the most traditional way to celebrate the Christmas holiday, doing something that brings happiness to others is an essential part of the Christmas holiday adventure.
