My Fashion Design Practice Drawing. Drawing Tips, Part-1.
Hello My Friends.
How are you all doing?
I've been sharing my drawings and illustrations for quite a long time. And like many artists, I do a lot of works that don't end up as a "perfect" drawing. Or do a lot of practice drawings on several concepts. I've decided to share them from time to time with you all. And I believe they have some critical aspects for learning.
- Like this one. It's not a faulty drawing. It was a drawing I was doing to practice for a new dress design. It looks good but there are some simple faults. And they are the basic faults. As I mentioned previously that the perfection of any drawing depends on how good the base structure is.
This is the structure of this drawing. It was good and I did it just as I wanted to. But, the problem here is, when I added the main design to it. Just then the body part became kind of awkward and too much slim.
Remember, you need to think of your final result before you start drawing. And you need to start the structure drawing by keeping that final result in your mind. I drew the body with the basic dress design and it was good. But, I wan't thinking of the final result and that's what messed up my drawing. So, you need to keep this simple basic but important rule of drawing while you're creating an artwork.
And you're able to see that I drew every part of the body separately with some circles in the joints. It's actually called a dummy that artists use to give their drawing's characters a real body position. We'll discuss that thoroughly in future.
I hope I was able to explain clearly what I wanted to. I'm trying to do something new everytime instead of holding up a single posting strategy. Hope you like it. I'm open to any suggestions. So, please feel free to put your comments and suggestions.
