Countess Sinash. Splinterlands Weekly Art Contest.
Hello Everyone.
How Are You All?
I hope that you all are well and leading a sound life with your loved ones. Today I'm back again with another one of my drawings to share with you. This artwork of mine is a fan art drawing of a monster of Splinterlands that I completed with my digital drawing tools.
The character I'm drawing today is a Splinterlands monster as I told you and it's named "Countess Sinash". I used my digital drawing tablet, my laptop, a stylus digital drawing pen, and the drawing software named iBis Paint. I'm sharing this drawing with her to participate in the weekly art contest arranged by @splinterlands. I'll add the link to the contest at the end of my post. Check it out if you feel interested. I will also include both my final work and the original image of the monster below. It'll help you to compare and judge.
My Drawing
Original Image
I know, there weren't many similarities. And that's the whole point of this, I made that in my own way. Now, let's walk you through the steps.
I started by drawing the visual structure of the drawing. I used a 4B pencil tool this time and I increased the size a bit. I started with her head and then added hair and eyes to it. Then I drew her full body and started drawing the borderlines and the curves too.
Afterward, I started working on her dress and the other small details. After I was done drawing the sketch or structure. I began the process of coloring it. As always I completed my work on her eyes first. I just love to do it in the first place. And then I started adding color layers in her skin to bring out the shades and curves. I used the multi-color layer technique as I normally do to bring out this realistic color effect.
After adding the primary color of her skin and adding the shades I wanted. It was time to start putting deeper color layers. I started by adding some deep color strokes and then I started working on her dress and hair too. I put the primary color on her hair and dress in this step.
I then started putting the small details together. Like the design on her hand cause I'm going to place and fireball on it and it needs to be different with a shield layer. I also drew the strokes on her hair which is going to help in the next step to complete adding the details on her hair. You can notice that I also started working on the background.
Now it was time to add the final color layers and begin the finishing process of my drawing. I started with her hair and neck. I also added some yellow strokes on her hand. Cause, the idea is her hand is made of something like a mix of stone and fire. I think you can call it lava stone. And this was to visualize that idea. Then I started working on her dress. After I was done with this main part of the drawing, I started working on the fire on her hand.
I don't know what you are thinking of my work how does it look to you. But, this drawing really took me a lot of time because I needed to add layer after layer to bring out the results you're seeing now. I never had to add so many layers before. Drawing that fire was the most complicated thing in this drawing.
Final Image
And by drawing a sphere of broken stones in the fire to make it look like an actual fireball, my drawing was complete.
I hope you liked my drawing. Tell me in the comment if you liked it or not. Also, give me suggestions about how can I improve my content quality. Both my post and drawing. Thanks in advance for that. Thanks a lot for reading my post and staying till the end.
