Hey, coffee friends!

Twenty years ago, I would've chosen coffee that is too sweet over coffee that is too bitter. Back then, sweet coffee was OK for me, but not anymore. Bitterness has grown on me, hehe. I sometimes like a sweet treat to go with my black coffee; I think this beats the bitterness a little, working like a smile on a bad day.

When coffee is too bitter, I might sip it faster and finish it while it's still hot. In my hometown, it's common that people add some milk when coffee is too bitter...

We have different preferences when it comes to our coffee drinks. It's good that you love the bitter and pure taste of coffee seeds. A lot of people loves it too! Cheers 🍻

I used to like sweet coffee, though never too sweet. At some point when I was in my twenties, I was drinking too many shots of coffee during the day; the sugar in them was a problem, so I quit it. I've been drinking my coffee without any sugar ever since, and now I can hardly tolerate sweet coffee. C'est la vie! Hehe.

Eliminating or reduce sugar from our diet is beneficial for our body. Personally, I like to add just a pinch of sugar while I get my palate used to the bitterness of coffee.

I leave you a cup of coffee for this Saturday.☕

I still add sugar to a lot of things. I'm trying to fix that gradually, but the hardest part about cutting down on sugar is saying no to sweet pastries 😉

Once you get used to it, you won't be able to stop; then you'll be like me, you won't understand how other people kill coffee with sugar ha, ha, ha, ha.

I hope I can get used to it someday, I know it's the best thing for my body, also because of my age, but I love sweets,😋 hahaha.

It is very crucial how “bitter” is the bitter coffee. If it’s unpleasant bitter, or it has some balancing bitterness. First has to be corrected while the second can be perfectly fine 😁

Milk definitely gives balance to the bitterness for its natural sweetness and the fats inside. That’s why if someone adds milk to the coffee it seems like he tries to fix it. 🤷🏻

Well yes, I don't usually drink it very sweet either, but not bitter either, I always add a little bit of sugar, I guess the bitterness hasn't taken over me completely yet 🤣.

The charm of bitterness is underrated 😌
I remember when I had my coffee sweet; I really loved it,but now I can hardly tolerate it. Things change my friend 👵🏻 😂

Your photos are beautiful. Everything looks divine. A good choice: the bitterness of the coffee over the sweetness.
