Wen AI Capable Of Rendering Entire Feature Films From A Prompt?

I think most of us have already seen AI generated illustrations to music, AI generated stories and all that good stuff. I believe it is only a matter of time when first AI capable rendering entire feature films is made.

I love mash-ups.

This one is quite funny. Opening credits and theme songs from Myrskyluodon Maija + Miami Vice mashed up => Myrskyluodon Maijami Vice.

We all know Miami Vice. But the other theme song needs an introduction.

Myrskyluodon Maija/Stormskär's Maja is a Finnish television miniseries released in 1976 (which is why the young generation in Finland may not know it) based on a novel written by Anni Blomqvist. It is set on a small island called Väderskäret in the region of Åland (an archipelago between Finland and Sweden) in a period of time between 1840 and 1903. In the beginning a young married couple, Janne and Maija, settle on the island. The series is a family saga involving family tragedies and events like battles of the Crimean War in the Baltic Sea between the Russian Empire and Britain 1854 and 1855. Finland was a Grand Duchy in the Russian Empire between 1809 and 1917. The Royal Navy destroyed the Bomarsund fortress on the main island of Åland among other things as part of its operations in the Baltic region.

The series ran in Sweden, Norway and Denmark in addition to Finland where it was a hit. Everyone above a certain age knows it and its score composed by Lasse Mårtenson is iconic.

Now, my prompt for an AI capable of generating feature films to generate the synopsis and from that the entire film would be this:

Miami-Dade PD is investigating the Russian mafia that smuggles drugs into Miami. Crockett and Tubbs receive a tip that a previously unknown and lost Fabergé egg contains hidden evidence of the crimes. It turns out the egg was made already in the 1850's by the founder of the jewellery firm House of Fabergé in St. Petersburg and not his son like the rest. Crockett and Tubbs manage to find the egg kept in a box in a shack in the Everglades. Crockett and Tubbs manage to escape the Russians gangsters guarding it after an action-packed sequence.

The egg, however, is not at all like the rest of the eggs. It contains alien tech and a time machine, which is activated in the rough and tumble taking Crockett and Tubbs to the year in its default settings, which is 1856 when it was made. The two detectives find themselves as stowaways on a British warship in the waters of Åland during Crimean War. The ship is destroyed and everyone else is killed except for Crockett and Tubbs who are washed ashore on the rocky shores of the remote island Väderskär. They are discovered half-dead by Janne and Maja who take them to their cabin and nurse the two "Englishmen" back to health. They've still got the egg, which needs to be taken back to Miami-Dade PD in the year 1986 as it is evidence in an ongoing investigation and because the FBI is making very uncomfortable calls to Ltn Castillo who cannot cover for his detectives for long...

P.S. Myrskyluodon Maija (Stormskerry Maja) is being remade. Variety magazine interviewed the director Tiina Lymi.
