We are in times of many changes, thousands of people have had to leave their homes to start from scratch. Tell me, what do you think about immigration? Have you had this experience or do you have someone close to you who had to go to another country? How do you feel about that?
Venezuelan migration, seeking refuge, improvements and quality of life, moves beyond its borders. I have not lived that experience personally, but I do have many loved ones who have left the country, very close relatives like my daughter, my four brothers. , nephews and brothers-in-law.
I feel invaded by nostalgia, anxiety, sadness and a feeling that never goes away, feelings that are never overcome since when we see a loved one leave the country, how is it easier to assume that they are leaving in search of well-being and we keep the hope that one day they will return.
We stay connected thanks to technology, video calls that bring us closer, but we need that kiss, a real hug, face to face, that human warmth.
It makes me feel good to assume that the situation is what it is, that it is not something that I can change, to think that it is temporary and to use technology to make up for the lack of contact with my loved ones.
Sometimes I act strong and try to act naturally, without showing my sadness or making them feel the need to have them close, I am comfortably at home, they often need that moral support more to make them feel better.

This Sunday we celebrate Children's Day in my country (Venezuela). If you have children, how do you celebrate their day? If you don't have children, do you ever let that "inner child" out? Tell us what you do and how does this make you feel?
Certainly on July 21, Children's Day was celebrated in Venezuela. It is actually celebrated every third Sunday of the month of July, a date chosen to commemorate and ratify the rights of children and adolescents in the country, a fact chosen by the organization of the united nations to remind them that they are people with rights and freedoms and deserve initiatives for their correct human and citizen development.
My children grew up but when they were little I celebrated them a lot, now I have my granddaughter as she is still a baby, we celebrate her with many gifts at home.
In Venezuela we celebrate by taking the children to the parks and different shopping centers where there are activities for them to enjoy, mechanical games, jumping jacks, slides, face painting, clowns, meals, snacks, some of us buy them gifts, prepare their favorite food and stay At home, we also meet in the community or at church where we all collaborate to buy gifts and carry out activities in their honor.

I believe that every Venezuelan who says goodbye to a loved one carries those feelings you describe within their soul. We only have to maintain faith and hope that one day things can go back to the way they were before.

It's great that you were able to enjoy and celebrate your children together on this special day. Hugs my friend, thanks for participating.

I tell you @mariperez316 I would be very sad to see my sons go find work in another country. They are grown up now so I must have faith and confidence in them should they so choose. We will only a long distance phone call away.
