Hi guys this is my first time in #cinnamoncupcoffee comunity, my first post and my first experince so guys please go easy on me. I don't want to spill that sounds meaningless especially for the first time so I don't want to talk in a circle and I want to start this post by saying..

Jesus Christ guys, I've been doing bullshit all my life complain about this that this that endlessly until yesterday I accidently put myself into a revelation.

Ya for exact momment it felt like somebody jjust punch me in head for what I'd witnessed. The story began Yesterday I feel so off about what Idea I might have to create another content or post or blog for #hivecommunity. So I walk around with my motorbike to lose it up little bit and then at the corner of my eye I caught something that little bit odd for my ear. Yes a coffe shop called KOPI SUNYI means QUITE COFFEE, I mean like wtf dude coffee shop surely suppose to need slow soft music right ??? and why in this hell they make it silent ? Are you that dumb to make a such place ? thats exactly my first thought in this. Well, at the exact momment I enter the room I know theres something different especially when the waitress welcome you with hand sign.. and then I make my bullshit reason to get my way home to get a camera to have this content.

IMG_6170.JPEG

I know it sounds like an asshole but I feel like I have urge for this but YES I HAVE their consent to post the blog about them. Slow down okay, calm your tits.

So the place located in :
Sentra Niaga Shop 1 no 57
Jaka Setia, Bekasi
West Java , postal code 17147

Surely not so far from my apartment, the place it self seems so propherly calm. The nuance of this place is unfinish Industrial Minimalist kind of vibe, not so bad and I guess it kind of clever to have something that designed and meant to be unfinished.. wtf little bit but.. HAHAHA.

IMG_6171.JPEG

For the outer place they have this kind of sided steel (kinda cage) bench that face to pedestrian road for the smokers offcourse. They dont allow you to smoke inside the room that kind of understandable for the terms of safetiness. Please dont make a joke for that one. For the outer place I dont think they display something that so mind-blown, just a simple and decent outer shop.

IMG_6173.JPEG

IMG_6172.JPEG

Yes they have kind of permanent sticker for the glass wall.. offcourse why not.. but because of the placement of this place facing the sunset so it adds another dusk-calm vibes for a certain momment. It surely cool somehow that sillhoute snaps my brain to recall a good and safe momment that I have got.

IMG_6169.JPEG

IMG_6168.JPEG

These are some picture to envision what happened inside. The place nicely well designed I guess, not much but it deliver the purpose. Again UNFINISH what the hell, I think the minus on the design like this is when you do some conference or facetime or skype or whatever it is, it definetly going to look bad in the camera mostly because of the wall paint I bet.

IMG_6167.JPEG

The menu more or less like this. Nothing much and so focus in coffee.. OFFCOURSE idiot you don't even have to mention it you say.. HAHAHA , and ya I don't even bother to order meal or something. My order was Banoffee and coffee milk to take away home.

IMG_6164.JPEG

Oh ya the cool thing in this coffee shop is they kinda teach me about how to do little bit hand sign language. How to do little bit order with hand sign. The waiter name Akbar and Okky , both of them are mute from the birth. We have so many conversation that day with the help of the manager name Difa. They really open with my CNN kind of question. The start feel so awkward but they really are the definition of good hearted people guys..

IMG_6174.JPEG

YES BANOFFEE and COFFEE MILK, if Im not mistaken the banoffee the left one and the coffee. Oh ya I forgot I ordered these two twice because of 4 of us doing so nice conversation, "well mario where is the other coffee then" I just said I ordered the same coffee why the hell I have to take photo for the other one (hahahaha).

IMG_6158.GIF

This is Okky by the way. H e really a decent guy, he really open and have the huge willingness to give people education about mute or disabilty people, he even told me the story he grew up with how mute people get a job or how myte people disband for a several job, he dont deny it houg, I mean if you really have a conversation with this good you can tell he has a big heart.

Oh ya Banoffee is kind of coffee that has coffeee and banana mixed based flavour, it taste pretty good especially if you really not into coffee world. In short explanation more like this is a beginner coffee for those who don't even have interest in coffee.

IMG_6165.JPEG

Jesus.. Sorry guys, I forgot to mention the second floor, How stupid. Ya they have a beautifull simple design full of sun light, looks healthy and clean. They name the second floor with wall of hope. This is one of the cool part of this place, the customer leave reciew for this place. So many kind and sweet words in that, here let me show you.

IMG_6082.JPG

Thank you for making this place calm and inspiring, dont give up, you the best

IMG_6077.JPG

Successful people will see adversity as an opportunity, fail people will see difficulties as obstacles.
    Keep it up bro sis

IMG_6074.JPG

Theme are super cute, The concept is different than others.
HORAYY, now I know sign Language
   Thankyou so much KOPI SUNYI

IMG_6160.GIF

Back to the topic, Akbar told me how he grew up where he grew up how was it in School and he pretty eager to tell the story. The beauty of struggling with the his limit and he also told me how the mute community make it happen in the serious line of Job such as Doctor. Even without he need to tell I know it super hardcore struggle especially if you have that condition as a teenager. He really nailed it in terms of this coffee world, he does manage of what he doing really good. The banoffee he made is heaven and no explanation further and the coffee milk still in top notch.

IMG_6159.GIF

After almost an hour listening the story, I had to take a breath outside with a ciggarate to process. Oh man its pretty opening-eyes momment to have a living proof telling you how hard it was to struggling with that condition. Bully sounds disgusting offcourse, but the thing is the hardest part was when people often to looking at you with pitty mindset. I don't know man, if I was in that position maybe I already giving it up. Shit..

IMG_6163.GIF

IMG_6080.JPG

For the hygiene matter. I think they really hit the spot, Im not going to lie, this place is so damn clean. If im not mistaken Okky has "clean-discipline-rule" that kind of straight. Yes in some matter like how they doing it, how they clean it, how they put it where it suppose to be are kinda rough, I mean I understand they did it because they unable to hear anything so..

NEXT.

IMG_6162.GIF

Even with or without them telling me about bully stuff or how society undermind them along the way I personally can notice how hard it was. They do the team work stuff so greatly and they nail it.

IMG_6175.JPEG

For you guys that always need a power plug for your phone or laptop I think you guys can do it just fine in this place. The electricity plug placement kind of weird for me but I guess it deliver the purpose perfectly. I mean why it has to be beneath the table instead of sticks to the table, I mean Im not a tall guy just 175cm and that electricty power pluggin kind of disturbing for my leg.

IMG_6178.PNG

I guess this kind of remind us how to be human. EQUALITY, these days so many people put topic about equality of gender or anything. Well it does matter, but sometimes wether you a male or female during the teenager or even throughout your life the struggle must have been different if you compare it to those guys This time really represent of "open your heart" for me.. more like these days I kind of forgot that word "GRATEFUL" , and somehow this place, this worker put me in the right place again.

How crazy isnt it ? art of coffee done well by someone that I think has nothing to offer, or at least use to think. I personally suggesting you to visit this place. If you aim the right place to think, to give a birth to an idea, to have a good quite place to recollect your mind, please don't hesitate to come.

Sorry I don't order so many thing to show you the overall menu, but I guess clearly you get my point about this one.

Oh this is an amazing place, far from offering coffee it is an opportunity for inclusion. It appears to me something well thought out to offer a source of work to deaf mute people. Maybe that you found this site was something that motivated you to reflect and that is good, to stop and think about how others are doing and be thankful for the things that sometimes we don't appreciate like being able to speak, to hear, to see. I loved your post, thank you very much for sharing it.

It's interesting how the alphabet is so different for your sign language than our sign language (I do know some American Sign Language). I've always kind of wondered why there isn't a universal sign language and then everyone can learn it in school and not only speak with deaf, mute, nonverbal autistic, and other people who need it but also it could be a universal language so even if our audible languages are different we could still communicate. I mean obviously if you were spelling words out you'd run into the same problem, but the not-spelled-out words could be universal? Just a thing I've always wondered.
The sign language I learned, I learned from a coworker! :)

hmm Hi phoenix ghankyou for stopping by.

the answer for your question is because ( Okky told me this one )

  1. because of not all mute people can understand how to do the pronounciation of a word from the person who taught them. Like this you are an American , you speak a language that used by every people on earth as a Unity Language, if you american that hppen to be mute learn to talk they going to talk as a mute language of America (english) but the problem is the language of each country doesnt always seem fit with the grammar. Like so many words that use in Indonesia that cannot be translated in english.

  2. If you a mute people that happen born outside of english language majority country you have translate it in 3 layers. layer 1 = sign language, layer 2 = you nattive language, layer 3 = english

  3. even in somany country or nation they still doing local language instead of nation language.

so I wish that can help you out..
thankyou for stopping by again beautiful lady
