Ladies of Hive Community Contest 192 / Friendship, a treasure to be cherished (ENG/ESP)
Greetings dear community,
Friendship for me is love with respect, it is an affective relationship where the values of loyalty, solidarity, sincerity and there are even cases where they reach unconditionality and commitment, because the treatment is what determines the duration of the relationship over time.
A friend is the one who is there at the most important moments in our lives, supporting us in our sorrows and misfortunes, sharing and rejoicing in our triumphs and joys.
It is not necessary that we share the same tastes and opinions, but that bond is strengthened when diversity is respected; however, if we share those affinities, it is a delight to enjoy life with them.
The value of friendship should not be jeopardized by our ego, that is a thin border that we have to take care of.
We may advise or tell our friends things from our opinion, thinking that we are right and that it is the best for them, without empathizing with their reason, decision or action. Pride can prevent us from seeing and recognizing that no matter how many friends they are, they are not obligated to do or follow my suggestions. Sometimes I have had to say "I don't agree with what you are doing, this is my way of seeing things, however I respect you and you can count on me if you need my helping hand".
Forgiveness among friends is from the heart. When friendship is true neither distance, nor time nor age prevent it from lasting, I have experienced this with friends who have migrated, we are always present even at a distance, that is no reason not to be.
And we don't necessarily have to see each other or talk all the time to keep the friendship, I'm not a "buddy" or that we have to know and do everything together, my lasting friendships are the ones that are there when they need to be.
I have friends who are much younger than me, so age is also not a limiting factor in having good friends.
A friend is not just a word, I have a few true friends who have really shown me that they deserve that place. However, I have many friendships, with whom I share good times and we support each other on many occasions. I find it easy to relate to people, especially those who share my values, ideals and tastes.

La amistad para mi es amor con respeto, es una relación afectiva donde también intervienen los valores de lealtad, solidaridad, sinceridad e incluso hay casos donde llegan a la incondicionalidad y el compromiso, porque el trato, es lo que determina la duración de la relación en el tiempo.
Un amigo es el que está en los momentos más importantes en nuestras vidas, apoyándonos en las tristezas y desventuras, comparte y se alegra por nuestros triunfos y alegrías.
No es necesario que compartamos los mismos gustos y opiniones, pero se afianza ese lazo cuando se respeta la diversidad; sin embargo, si compartimos esas afinidades, es una delicia disfrutar de la vida con ellos.
El valor de la amistad no debe ponerse en riesgo por nuestro ego, eso es una frontera delgada que tenemos que cuidar.
Pudiéramos aconsejar o le decirles las cosas a nuestros amigos desde nuestra opinión, pensando que tenemos la razón y que es lo mejor para ellos, sin tener empatía de la razón, decisión o acción que tienen ellos. El orgullo nos puede impedir ver y reconocer que por muy amigos que sean, no están obligados hacer o seguir mis sugerencias. En ocasiones he tenido que decir “no estoy de acuerdo con lo que haces, esta es mi manera de ver las cosas, sin embargo te respeto y cuentas conmigo si requieres mi mano amiga”
El perdón entre amigos es de corazón. Cuando la amistad es verdadera ni la distancia, ni el tiempo y ni tampoco la edad impiden que perdure, eso lo he vivido con amigas que han migrado siempre estamos presente aun a la distancia, eso no es motivo para no estar.
Y no necesariamente tenemos que vernos o conversar todo el tiempo para conservar la amistad, yo no soy “compinchera” o que tenemos que saber y hacer todo juntos, mis amistades duraderas son las que están cuando tienen que estar.
Tengo amigos que son mucho menores que yo, así que la edad tampoco es una limitante para tener buenos amigos.
Un amigo no es solo de palabra, tengo unos cuantos verdaderos amigos que me han demostrado realmente que merecen ese lugar. Sin embargo, tengo muchas amistades, con las que comparto buenos momentos y nos apoyamos en muchas ocasiones. Se me hace fácil relacionarme con las personas, sobre todo las que comparten mis mismos valores, ideales y gustos.

Yeah, age is not a limit factor. This is so true. My current close friend now is older than me but we bond so well.
