Hello my beautiful people of the @ladiesofhive community. Greetings to all the empowered women who give life to this valuable community. It's a pleasure to make me a participant in this contest. Ladies of the Hive Community Contest #122. I was invited by my friend @naath. And when I reviewed the contest questions I was delighted to be part of it. I cordially invite friends @theresa16, @whendyth16 and @giocondina to join this contest to know their opinion about it.
Hola mi gente linda de la comunidad @ladiesofhive. Saludos a todas las mujeres empoderadas que dan vida a esta valiosa comunidad. Es un placer hacerme participe de este concurso. Concurso de la Comunidad Damas de la Colmena #122. Atendiendo la invitación que me hizo la amiga @naath. Y al revisar las preguntas del concurso me encantó formar parte de el. Invito cordialmente a las amigas @theresa16, @whendyth16 y @giocondina para que se unan a este concurso y poder conocer su opinión al respecto.
Why do you think society places such a high value on beauty when it serves no functional purpose?//¿Por qué crees que la sociedad le da un valor tan alto a la belleza?cuando no sirve para ningún propósito funcional?
Worldwide, women have fought and participated in all the struggles in society to be taken into account according to their potential, to their way of leading, regardless of their beauty. I can not fail to emphasize that there are very beautiful and at the same time very intelligent women who were born with these gifts. Unfortunately, in society, physical beauty is highly valued when it comes to hiring a woman for a job just because she is pretty, even if she is not or does not have the profile to hold the position. However, there are women who are not very graceful but with a unique intelligence, with a potential capable of succeeding in any job in society. Here, beauty is more important than intelligence.
A nivel mundial la mujer ha luchado y participado en todas las luchas en la sociedad para poder ser tomada en cuenta de acuerdo a sus potencialidades, a su forma de liderar, sin importar la belleza. No puedo dejar de resaltar que hay mujeres muy bellas y a la vez muy inteligentes nacieron con esos dones. Lamentablemente en la sociedad valoran mucho la belleza física a la hora de contratar una mujer en un empleo solamente por ser bonita aunque no sea o tenga el perfil para ejercer el cargo. Sin embargo hay mujeres que son pocas agraciadas pero con una inteligencia única, con un potencial capaz de salir adelante en cualquier labor que ejerza en la sociedad. Aquí el detalle la belleza predomina por encima de la inteligencia.
We cannot underestimate the personality of women who are not beautiful but have a great potential and talent, where their personality stands out, enhances them and makes them look beautiful: they are kind, simple, with good temper, with great empathy, willing to help, with much knowledge, etc.. On the other hand, there are very beautiful women but with an unpleasant personality: they are unfriendly, unsociable, they think they are more than others, they are not humble at heart, they like to mistreat people, they are moody, lack of empathy, they are inflexible, etc. All these negative traits that are part of their personality detract from their beauty.
No podemos subestimar la personalidad de las mujeres que no son bella pero tienen un gran potencial y talento, donde su personalidad resalta, las enaltecen y las hace ver hermosas: son amables, sencillas, con buen genio, con mucha empatia, dispuestas ayudar, con mucho conocimiento, etc. Es cambio existen mujeres muy lindas pero con una personalidad poco agradable es decir son : antipáticas, poco sociable, se creen mas que los demás, no son humilde de corazón, le gustan maltratar a las personas, malhumoradas, falta de empatia,inflexibles etc. Todos estos rasgos negativos que forman parte de su personalidad le restan en su belleza.
Therefore, I value inner beauty more than outer beauty, the abilities and skills that a person possesses, etc. And not in all areas of life physical beauty is important in society depends on the glass where this approach: as beauty pageants, models, advertising, etc..
Por lo tanto valoro mas la belleza interior que la exterior, las habilidades y destrezas que posea la persona, etc. Y no en todos los ámbitos de la vida la belleza física es importante en la sociedad depende del cristal donde esta se enfoque: como los certámenes de belleza, modelos, publicidad, etc.
What job would you be absolutely terrible at?//¿En qué trabajo serías absolutamente terrible?
Very interesting question. Although I am a woman who has fulfilled different roles in society, I know that many women are endowed with many talents and abilities which we are discovering little by little. In my adulthood I have developed many potentialities such as: writing short stories and short stories, I have been teaching for some years without being a teacher since I am a graduate in another university career, I am an expert in preparing dishes and I think I could become a great chef. One where I could not practice and I know it would be very bad for me would be: military, police, lawyer, custodian. Because I am so soft-hearted that maybe I would be bad at the job and I think I would be discharged. People who do this kind of work are very strong-willed and those attitudes do not fit my personality. I really don't see myself doing this type of work. I would be a one hundred percent failure. Even if I receive the thousands of instructions and preparation I know that I will not function in the best way there, I think I would live in fear.
Muy interesante la pregunta. A pesar de ser una mujer que he cumplido diferentes roles en la sociedad.Se que muchas mujeres están dotadas de muchos talentos y capacidades las cuales vamos descubriendo poco a poco. En mi edad adulta he desarrollado muchas potencialidades tales como: escribir cuentos e historias cortas, ejercer durante algunos años la docencia sin ser docente ya que estoy graduada en otra carrera universitaria, soy experta preparando platillos y creo que podría convertirme en una gran chef. Uno donde no podría ejercer y se que me iría muy mal es ser: militar, policía, abogado,custodio. Porque soy de corazón tan blando que a lo mejor voy a ser mal el trabajo y creo que me darían de baja. Las personas que ejercen este tipo de labor son muy fuertes de carácter y esas actitudes no van con mi personalidad. De verdad no me veo ejerciendo este tipo de trabajo. Seria una fracasada cien por ciento. Aunque reciba las miles instrucciones y preparación se que allí no voy a funcionar de la mejor manera, creo que viviría asustada.

I was so pleased to see this stance. It really does show that we all are more alike than we know and practice some of the more important values in our society. Thank God for that.
Also, I enjoyed reading why certain jobs, such as military, police, custodian, wouldn't fit with your personality. When you say that they wouldn't be a good fit because "Because I am so soft-hearted that maybe I would be bad at the job and I think I would be discharged."
That is a delightful character trait to have. The good thing is there are an abundance of professions that fit your personality. There is something for everyone, I always say.

Military and Police jobs are those where you really need to be tough and yes soft hearted people can fail there.
It is a loss for those who look at beauty and hire on jobs without emphasizing on person's credentials, but eventually they will get the results as well accordingly.
Just the thought of having to do such a job gives me everything. My heart is very peaceful and soft. I am not suited for this kind of work. Regards
