Saludos a todos ustedes compañeros de Hive, es un placer compartir nuevamente en la comunidad de photography lovers, para hoy quiero compartirles estas fotografías del Fortin de la Galera, Juangriego, Isla De Margarita, Venezuela.

Greetings to all of you Hive colleagues, it is a pleasure to share again in the community of photography lovers, for today I want to share these photographs of Fortin de la Galera, Juangriego, Isla De Margarita, Venezuela.

Este fuerte, está en la parte más alta de la bahía de Juangriego, data del año de 1811, fue escenario principal en la batalla de Juangriego, acaecida el 8 de agosto de 1817, donde las tropas patriotas de Margarita se defendieron de los españoles, estos llegaron hasta el Fortín de la Galera por el mar de Juangriego.

This fort, located in the highest part of Juangriego Bay, dates back to 1811. It was the main scene in the Battle of Juangriego, which took place on August 8, 1817, where Margarita's patriotic troops defended themselves against the Spanish. These reached the Fortín de la Galera through the Juangriego Sea.

Es muy visitada por propios y turistas, desde allí se ve los atardeceres más hermosos de la Isla de Margarita, también podemos apreciar hermosos paisajes de la bahia de Juangriego y también la Laguna de los Mártires, hoy en día es un patrimonio histórico y turístico en la isla de Margarita.

It is very visited by locals and tourists, from there you can see the most beautiful sunsets on Margarita Island, we can also appreciate beautiful landscapes of the Juangriego bay and also the Laguna de los Mártires, today it is a historical and tourist heritage in Margaret Island.
