Fragrant rapeseed flowers in September

Memories from my May stay in the Lublin region came back. As it turns out, despite the approaching autumn, the area is still colorful and fragrant.

Wróciły wspomnienia z majowego pobytu na lubelszczyźnie. Jak się okazuje, mimo zbliżającej się jesieni, jest jeszcze kolorowo i pachnąco w okolicy.

I didn't expect this in September. The blooming rapeseed fields were a huge surprise. In addition to being a beautiful sight, the wonderful, sweet scent of the yellow flowers is overwhelming.

Tego się nie spodziewałem we wrześniu. Kwitnące pola rzepaku były ogromnym zaskoczeniem. Oprócz tego, że to piękny widok, to powala cudowny, słodki zapach żółtych kwiatów.

What is strange is that the blackberries are not ripe yet. I always picked them in August, this year there is a big delay in ripening

Many farmers have decided to sow rapeseed for the second time. This is probably due to this year's hot spring and summer.

Na drugi wysiew rzepaku zdecydowało się wielu rolników. To prawdopodobnie zasługa tegorocznej wiosny i lata, które były gorące.

This year, juniper has also produced a great harvest, and I have run out of it. It is worth having it in your home kitchen as a spice for red meats and, of course, for the liqueur, which I love.

Pięknie w tym roku obrodził również jałowiec, którego zapasy mi się skończyły. Warto go mieć w domowej kuchni jako przyprawa do czerwonych mięs no i oczywiście do nalewki, czyli jałowcówki, którą uwielbiam.

Overall, a very successful, warm day, with temperatures reaching plus 25 degrees. Lots of walks in the forests and nearby fields in search of mushrooms. Unfortunately, I can't see any yet, but I hope they will appear.

Generalnie dzień bardzo udany, ciepły, bo temperatura dochodziła do plus 25 stopni. Sporo spacerów po lasach i okolicznych polach w poszukiwaniu grzybów. Niestety tych na razie nie widać, ale mam nadzieję, że się pojawią.
