Writing help

  • A free app: Grammarly. A lot of us are not native English speakers and I am finding it a helpful app. It will underline spelling and grammar mistakes. Remember that it is not always right -especially if you use complex sentence structures. Here is the link

  • Remember The Most Dangerous Writing App. You set the time - 5 min - and start typing. Don’t stop!!! It will destroy what you wrote if you stop for more than 3 seconds - and backspace does not count as writing on the app. If you are prone to stop and think - this app forces you to keep going. You can make corrections after the 5 minutes are over.

  • A timer. Egg timer is a free tool you can use on your desktop to set a time. This is useful for our freewrites or if you want to work in blocks of time and then take a break. Here is the link

  • I found this app through @emwalker. Use it regularly and it will help you type faster and more accurately. [10 fast fingers](https://10fastfingers.com/typing-test/english

Felicidades por ese logro extraordinario que tantas alegrías y buenos recuerdos ha causado a tantos escritores. @mariannewest eres la dama del freewrite y una gran persona, espero que disfrutes muchos temas más mientras seguimos creando textos maravillosos. Aquí mi freewrite de hoy...

"¿Que se siente haber logrado tantos temas?" - preguntó el periodista.
"Realmente no sabía que se debía sentir algo" - respondió la modesta escritora.
"Caramba, pero si usted ha llenado la web de sus textos y abierto una puerta creativa a cientos de nuevos escritores" - insistió.
"Solo he cumplido a diario con una tarea que me gusta mucho" - dijo ella encogiendo los hombros. En su tono había un dejo de incredulidad.
"Pero llegar a 2000 mensajes no es cosa fácil" - señaló.

Entonces, ella lo miró sorprendida, y luego de hacer una breve pausa exclamó:

"¡2000 mensajes, es una locura, no puedo creerlo!"
"Y no solo eso, espere a leer todos los comentarios de felicitaciones que tienen preparado todos sus amigos del proyecto y de su casa @thealliance y de la Familia Romana y de @hivewriters" - dijo el periodista emocionado.

Ella entonces dio un gran suspiro, y cayó de espaldas abrumada por la emoción. El hombre se apresuró a ayudarla mientras pensaba:

"Definitivamente, esta mujer, @mariannewest está llena de sentimientos."

Congratulations for reaching the 2000 milestone. I am here not with no feeling at all, but lots of feeling. Overall, all is well here. My eldest is now 12 years old, as tall as me🤭. My youngest one, the one with some medical condition has some progress, although with few-days complications once a month. Doctor had recommended for next surgery to remove some scar adhesion at his abdomen but not a hurry, we are praying and deciding when to go about it. We thank God for life everyday.🙏 Thank you for doing a lot for people around you and also for the Freewriters. Hope you are well too. And stay vibrant and full of laughter as you always be! ❤️ Because your laughter is contagious.

I was telling my kids about our awesome trip to Colorado just last week when we rented a huge airbnb for a family reunion.

We are doing well! That would be really lovely! My mom lives with us now and all her siblings live in San Diego, so I think we'll be coming a little more often! It would be great to visit.
