En Palmira, la navidad se vive de manera diferente, el día 08 diciembre se dio oficialmente el inicio a la navidad en este pueblo, con un desfile muy típico de la zona, contando con 16 agrupaciones además de carrozas y bandas show, cada sector o capitanía es responsable de una misa de aguinaldos, y en la víspera cada uno de ellos realizan su desfile, quema de pólvora y otras actividades, que se preparan desde inicio de año, ese mismo 08 de diciembre se realizó el encendido de luces de la plaza y el sector, así que , las noches de pueblo se iluminan con la magia de colores brillantes, creando un escenario encantador para pasear y disfrutar del espíritu navideño. Los residentes decoran con esmero sus hogares, contribuyendo a un espectáculo luminoso que refleja el calor de la temporada.
