Saludos amigos de #hivediy. Mi proyecto de hoy consiste en realizar la restauración de un angelito que estaba un poco oxidado y la pintura estaba algo dañada. Este ángel fue un regalo que le hizo una amiga a mi hermana. Ella iba a pasar una larga temporada en este país, por lo que le dio tiempo de revisar y ver en todos esos sitios en los que venden misceláneos y encontró este hermoso angelito. De eso han pasado como unos diez años, por lo que el angelito se ha ido deteriorando, como vivimos cerca de la playa el salitre tiende a oxidar todo, además, la pintura se ha ido esconchando, por lo que decimos hacerle un trabajo de restauración y de esta forma conservar un buen recuerdo.

He aquí te dejo los pasos a seguir, por si tienes algún objeto que haya sufrido daño por el tiempo. Lo bueno de las restauraciones es que puedes agregar o modificar cosas, como por ejemplo el color. Antes el vestido del angelito era verde y decimos pintarlo rosa y sus zapatillas color dorado para un toque más etéreo.

Materiales:

• Lija #80.
• Pinturas al frío de los colores: rosado, lila, blanco, dorado, piel, marrón marrón negro.
• Pincel grueso y delgado.

Antes de iniciar la restauración debemos eliminar la pintura vieja para esto utilizamos una lija #80, y lijamos toda la figura, eliminando el óxido y los imperfectos que pueda tener la superficie.

Una vez que tengamos limpia la superficie empezamos a pintar la cabeza, el vestido, las piernas, las alas y los zapatos por la parte trasera del angelito.

Once we have the surface clean, we begin to paint the head, the dress, the legs, the wings and the shoes on the back of the little angel.

Luego empezamos a pintar la parte delantera, el cabello, la cara, la piernas, los zapatos y el vestido, aplicando varias capas hasta cubrir bien la superficie.

El angelito va colgado de una estrella, también la lijamos y pintamos de color dorado. Las alas las pintamos de color blanco y pasamos una línea dorada por toda la orilla.

Por último pegamos las alas con un puntito de pega tanque para que no se despeguen. Luego colocamos la estrella en las manos del angelito y se las doblamos para que quede fija.
Y de esta forma fácil, rápido y sencilla tenemos restaurado este lindo angelito.
