[ESP-ENG] To bad weather a good face! 😊 Lucia visits the pediatrician!👩‍⚕️💖

Luego de un rato entramos al consultorio, la doctora empezó a revisar a Lucia y aunque estaba algo nerviosa se portó excelente. Le comenté a la doctora todos los síntomas de Lucia y ella empezó a hacer la revisión física, cuando me preguntó los alimentos ingeridos el día anterior le comenté que Lucia había comido 'catalinas' (una dulce típico de mi ciudad hecho a base de harina de trigo, especias y papelón), por lo que ella de inmediato me dijo que el malestar de estómago era una mala digestión. Sin embargo como le dije de la fiebre, ella me comentó que una mala digestión causa febricula pero no una temperatura tan elevada por lo que ella continuo su revisión, al observar la garganta de Lucia me dijo que le estaba iniciando faringitis y probablemente está era la causa de la fiebre. Le recetó unos exámenes de laboratorio y en base a esos resultados me indicaría el tratamiento adecuado para mí princesa.

After a while we went into the office, the doctor started to check Lucia and although she was a little nervous she behaved excellent. I told the doctor all of Lucia's symptoms and she began to do a physical examination, when she asked me what food I had eaten the day before I told her that Lucia had eaten 'catalinas' (a typical sweet from my city made of wheat flour, spices and paprika), so she immediately told me that the stomach upset was a bad digestion. However, as I told her about the fever, she told me that a bad digestion causes febrile fever but not such a high temperature, so she continued her examination, when she observed Lucia's throat she told me that she was getting pharyngitis and probably this was the cause of the fever.
She prescribed some lab tests and based on those results she would indicate the appropriate treatment for my princess.

Hicimos los exámenes de laboratorio, Lucia lloro mucho pues le tiene terror a las inyecciones, me parte el corazón verla llorar pero era por su bien, gracias a Dios se calmo y luego estaba con su sonrisa que la caracteriza aunque le dijo 'malvada' a la bioanalista🙈. Al tener los resultados se los entregamos a la pediatra quien confirmo sus sospechas de la faringitis, así que le recetó antibiótico, antipiretico y nebulizaciones además de unos probioticos para su estómago.

Empezamos el tratamiento ese mismo día y gracias a Dios la niña empezó con su recuperación de forma satisfactoria, ya no ha presentado más fiebre y del estómago no se ha vuelto a quejar, también ha recuperado el apetito que lo tenía bastante decaído.

We did the lab tests, Lucia cried a lot because she is terrified of injections, it breaks my heart to see her cry but it was for her own good, thank God she calmed down and then she was with her characteristic smile although she said 'evil' to the bioanalyst🙈. When we got the results we gave them to the pediatrician who confirmed her suspicions of pharyngitis, so she prescribed antibiotics, antipyretics and nebulizations in addition to some probiotics for her stomach.
We started the treatment that same day and thank God the girl started her recovery in a satisfactory way, she has no more fever and her stomach has not complained again, she has also recovered her appetite which had been quite weak.
