My introduction to the Hive Community [ESP-ENG]

¡Hola Amigos! // Hi Friends!

Me llamo Mariangel, tengo 25 años y nací en Maracaibo, Venezuela, pero actualmente vivo en Cabimas que es otra ciudad del mismo estado. Soy una chica soñadora y divertida.

Tengo una pequeña familia que está compuesta por mi esposo que se llama Lendrys y mi perrito llamado Boleta José. Ese nombre se lo escogió mi esposo y me parece bastante chistoso. Aún no tenemos hijos, pero nos gustaría tenerlos en un futuro cercano.

My name is Mariangel, I am 25 years old and I was born in Maracaibo, Venezuela, but I currently live in Cabimas which is another city in the same state. I am a dreamy and funny girl.

I have a small family that is composed of my husband who is called Lendrys and my little dog named Boleta José. That name was chosen by my husband and I think it's pretty funny. We don't have children yet, but we would like to have them in the near future.

Mi día a día se basa en hacer algo diferente, que logré divertirme. Por los momentos no tengo trabajo, solo me dedico a las labores del hogar. Me gusta salir a pasear, asisto a una iglesia cristiana todos los domingos. También me gusta compartir con mi familia.

My day to day life is based on doing something different, that I manage to have fun. At the moment I don't have a job, I only do housework. I like to go for walks, I attend a Christian church every Sunday. I also like to spend time with my family.

Entre mis pasatiempos me gusta leer, también me fascina la repostería. Debo confesar que no sabía nada hasta que me inscribí en un curso y me gustaría seguir aprendiendo muchas más recetas.

Among my hobbies I like to read, I am also fascinated by baking. I must confess that I didn't know anything until I enrolled in a course and I would like to continue learning many more recipes.

Una de las que aprendí en el curso y que me llamó la atención fue el hacer galletas. Me gustó mucho porque cuando las hice a mi esposo le gustaron, y me animé a hacer por paquetes para vender y me fue muy bien gracias a Dios. Muchas personas me compraron y le gustaban porque me seguían pidiendo más.

One of the ones I learned in the course that caught my attention was baking cookies. I liked it a lot because when I made them my husband liked them, and I decided to make them in packages to sell and I did very well, thank God. Many people bought them and liked them because they kept asking me for more.

Gracias a ese curso obtuve ese conocimiento. También aprendí a hacer tortas y a decorarlas. La primera torta que decoré me quedó muy bonita, la familia por parte de mi esposo quedó sorprendida porque aprendí muy rápido.

Thanks to this course I gained this knowledge. I also learned how to make cakes and decorate them. The first cake I decorated was very beautiful, my husband's family was surprised because I learned very quickly.

También me enseñaron hacer alfajores (que son divinos), torta 3 leches, pie de limón, trufas, y muchas cosas más que no tenía la menor idea de que aprendería a hacerlos.

They also taught me how to make alfajores (which are divine), 3 leches cake, lemon pie, truffles, and many other things that I had no idea I would learn how to make.

Otra de las cosas que me gusta hacer a diario es ver los atardeceres. La naturaleza es tan hermosa que me causa emoción. Cuando me despierto en las mañanas, me encanta ver los pajaritos y escucharlos cantar. También me gusta el frío que hace por las mañanas, ya que vivo en una ciudad bastante calurosa.

Another thing I like to do every day is watch the sunsets. Nature is so beautiful that it causes me emotion. When I wake up in the morning, I love to see the little birds and hear them sing. I also like how cold it is in the morning, since I live in a fairly hot city.

Mis padres y hermanos se encuentra actualmente en Colombia, cosa que hace extrañarlos todos los días. A uno de mis hermanos tengo ya 4 años sin verlo, y lo extraño mucho. Nos mantenemos en contacto vía telefónica, pero no es lo mismo que tenerlo cerca. Cuando estábamos pequeños siempre fuimos muy unidos y nunca creí que nos separaríamos como estamos ahorita.

My parents and siblings are currently in Colombia, which makes me miss them every day. I haven't seen one of my brothers for 4 years now, and I miss him a lot. We keep in touch by phone, but it is not the same as having him around. When we were little we were always very close and I never thought we would be separated as we are now.

A mis papás tuve la oportunidad de verlos el año pasado que viajé a Colombia, pero ya los extraño. Siempre he sido muy pegada a ellos y además soy la única hija hembra de 4 hermanos que somos.
Tengo pensado viajar pronto para poder compartir con ellos nuevamente. Todos los días hablo con mi mamá, que se llama Marbelis y de ahí fue que nació la inspiración para el nombre de mi blog. Ella es mi mejor amiga, nos tenemos mucha confianza. Y con mi papá no tengo mucha comunicación directa pero siempre estoy preguntando por él.

I had the opportunity to see my parents last year when I traveled to Colombia, but I already miss them. I have always been very attached to them and I am also the only female daughter of 4 brothers that we are. I plan to travel soon to be able to share with them again. Every day I talk to my mom, whose name is Marbelis and that's where the inspiration for the name of my blog was born. She is my best friend, we trust each other a lot. And I don't have much direct communication with my dad but I'm always asking about him.

Mi persona favorita es mi esposo. En el año 2015 lo conocí por medio de su hermana, que estudiaba conmigo en el liceo. Fuimos amigos y luego nos hicimos novios cuando él y yo teníamos 18 años de edad.

My favorite person is my husband. In 2015 I met him through his sister, who was studying with me in high school. We were friends and then became boyfriend and girlfriend when he and I were 18 years old.

Él fue a mi casa para hablar con mis padres y pedirles permiso para que fuéramos novios. Mi padre siempre ha sido celoso conmigo por ser la única hija hembra, pero finalmente lo aceptaron.

He came to my house to talk to my parents and ask their permission for us to be boyfriend and girlfriend. My father has always been jealous of me for being the only female daughter, but they finally accepted it.

Desde ese entonces nos ha ido muy bien gracias a Dios, me ha hecho feliz desde el inicio. Con el pasar los años decidimos irnos a vivir juntos y nos fue muy bonito. A los 2 años nos casamos y aquí estamos. Somos felices a pesar de cualquier circunstancia, siempre estamos en las buenas y en las malas apoyándonos.

Since then we have been doing very well thank God, he has made me happy from the beginning. As the years went by we decided to move in together and it went very well. Two years later we got married and here we are. We are happy in spite of any circumstance, we are always in good times and bad times supporting each other.

La vida es muy bella, a veces hay altas y bajas, pero nunca debemos bajar la guardia, siempre hacia adelante. Yo confío en mi Dios que está en los cielos, que me llena de mucha paz y fortaleza. Gracias a él soy feliz. Me ha llenado mucho.

Life is very beautiful, sometimes there are ups and downs, but we must never let our guard down, always forward. I trust in my God who is in heaven, who fills me with much peace and strength. Thanks to him I am happy. He has filled me a lot.
