The Beautiful Architecture View of Malete Library

The world class university with the biggest library in the west Africa region that has the capacity to convey over 50,000 volumes and seating for over 2000 persons.

The library was split into two, one which is the e-library annex meant for conveying participants with electronic resources like laptops, computers and other high quality tools which could be used as a medium for interactive display to help enhance the learning capabilities of the students.

The Kwara state university (Kwasu) main library located in malete was recently named after the current president of republic of Nigeria. President Muhammad Buhari, the library was then named Muhammad buhari main library after he commissioned it. In the library is the second section which conveys a conducive and in the external part where students are also allowed the benefits of borrowing books for furthering their knowledge beyond what they learned in their lecture halls.

The library annex is a 6 story building while the main library is a 4 stores building, the main library has a dome like th shape of a mosque from within and outside in which is the reception zone demarcates the way that leads in and out of the library.

Also the library inhabits a lift to help to ease the use of steps, if not ignoring the steps that are beautifully tiled with white led lights to ease the directions of people going through with tiles and cool hand rails to help from falling or slipping.

The library was funded by the (TETFUND) Tertiary Education Trust Fund With a cost of 3 billion naira to aid the financing of resources used in completing the building with a magnificent, exquisite design.

The library was commission on the 6th July of 2019, the world class university with the motto:- skills and integrity commissioned her main library project on the universities main campus, malete. And the dated commissioning was done by the former vice-chancellor of the prestigious institution, professor Abdulrasheed na’allah who has now been newly appointed the vice chancellor of the university of Abuja.

Together with the general secretary of the (TETFUND) Tertiary education trust fund professor Suleiman boyoro and also among were representatives from the university with the Kwara state deputy governor Abdul rahman abdulrasaq.

The library was carved by an architect named mr. raja which the design was marked out since the year 2009.

Close to the main library is a demarcation that shows the commissionary ceremony of the Kwara state university (Kwasu), main library complex malete. Which was performed by the executive secretary, tertiary education trust fund (TETFUND) that is professor Suleiman Bogoro on the 6th of July, 2019 paste at the front left pillar of the library.

The library entails a four seater table with space for each students to read conducive with shelves of books carefully and alphabetically arranged relatively.

The outer part of the library has shelves and lockers where the students can keep their books and lockers before paving their way into the library.

Not to forget the eye catching pilgrims diagrams that is to be seen around the library showcasing people reading and going through the chain of success till graduation. Which is round at the main entrance of the library and at the back and also inside the library.

The library also has outer parts for reading or also for relaxing which is formed within the beautiful interlocked walkways.
Looking at the curves and structure in which the library is built is so beautiful that makes it so picture worthy.

In looking at the bricks used to coves the cemented blocks as a way of design is so peculiar, that they used clay, granites and other types of sands to form beautiful covers which could be seen vividly around the library structure.

Looking at the library every part of it could be seen as a pattern or design which is beautiful and eye worthy not to mention the seated part ways moulded for sitting and the curves cemented around the external reading zones.

The various colors of bricks used to mould the beautification of the library made it look stand out from any other library in the whole of west African states.

The colorful bricks made it eye catching with perfect curves and edges made by the architect to make the building spectacular.
Truest it is a world class university.
