Being number 2 in Baroque Works, his attack and defense capabilities made him a powerful enemy. However, perhaps because of his very nature, he saw in Lufy the essence of a human being that despite being a pirate, does not keep evil, but dreams, and at some point a friendship arises between them that has given rise to many memes that are currently seen on the web.
After that first meeting, Bon Chan and Lufy coincide many chapters later, and their farewell in this opportunity will be one of the most emotional episodes in my opinion.
Can you be all bad? In an anime yes, and there are many, but there are also those who come to their senses. And in the case of Bon Chan, thanks to those multiple differences that make him an uncommon character, seeing that turnaround in his actions, makes him that much more special to me.

Siendo la sociedad japonesa, un tanto cerrada con respecto a la diversidad de género, a mi me ha llamado mucho la atención la inclusión de personajes trasvesti como Ivankov y Bentham del desierto, conocido como Bon Chan, además de Momoiro Island, en la que sus habitantes son todos trasvestis.
Esto, sin duda, le da a este ánime un alcance que va mucho más allá de la historia de Lufy y su tripulación, y su normal recibimiento, nos pone a pensar en que lo realmente importante son los hechos y no tanto de donde provienen.
En la primera aparición de Bon Chan, su personaje era adverso a la tripulación de los sombrero de paja, haciendo de las suyas para evitar el avance de Lufy por encontrar el One Piece. Y si te digo que pudieras llegar a detestarlo, es porque realmente nos hace sufrir usando las cualidades de su fruta del diablo para confundir a los protagonistas, y también al espectador.
Siendo el número 2 en Baroque Works, su capacidad de ataque y defensa, lo hacían un enemigo poderoso. Sin embargo, quizás por su misma naturaleza, vio en Lufy la esencia de un ser humano que a pesar de ser pirata, no guarda maldad, sino sueños, y en algún momento surge entre ellos una amistad que ha dado pie, inclusive, a muchos memes que se ven actualmente en la web.
Luego de ese primer encuentro, Bon Chan y Lufy coinciden muchos capítulos después, y su despedida en esta oportunidad será uno de los episodios más emocionales a mi juicio.
Se puede ser del todo malo? En un anime si, y los hay bsstantes, pero también existen aquellos que recapacitan. Y en el caso de Bon Chan, gracias a esas multiples diferencias que lo hacen un personaje nada común, el ver ese vuelco en sus acciones, lo hace mucho más especial para mi.

Oh boy! I can say Bon Chan is a legend. What he actually did in Impel down actually made me like him. Originally he was a crocodile crew, which made a lot of people hate him and all the past atrocities, but what he actually did for Luffy saving him from megallion. He has a place in my heart.

I was one of those who hated him when I first met him, but I loved the turn the character took as the episodes went on, and he became one of the characters I remember the most.

Definitely, I almost cry watching that scene..His contribution to Luffy's break out in Impel down was really irreplaceable. Bon chan's character is indeed peculiar yet special at the same time.

I hope they include him again in one of the new arcs later on, as he is a really funny and wonderful character.

A mi me gustan los villanos que nacen malos y mueren malos jaja pero reconozco que los que recapacitan y lo hacen de una forma muy llegadera y no forzada, son especiales e inolvidables, este puede ser un ejemplo 🦉
