During the week I had to go almost on an emergency basis to a medical appointment with my son. And I must recognize that although public medical service is not so bad in this country, I am quite fastidious with the waiting and the asking for appointments that are for a couple of months, when the need is current.

Going to an emergency room is something that scares me, so I usually always opt for private medicine.

So when my child got complicated with a cold, I did not hesitate to go to the medical center where I go to have my gynecological checkups, which also has other specialties, including pediatrics.

Arriving I was surprised by the beautiful mural that is at the entrance, they are flowers of different shapes and colors, which give a warmth to an environment that could be a little anguishing, to be a place where one goes in search of medical help.

The building is really warm, with many windows through which the mural can be seen and natural light entering and illuminating the white walls of the site.

From those windows, while I was waiting, I could take some of the photographs, and after coming out of the anguish with a diagnosis that calmed me down quite a bit, and a recipe to buy the medicines, I dedicated myself to capturing the details of the beginning of the mural. It was in that area where I saw that the author is Sofiargulo, whom you can find on IG as @soyfioo.

I loved exploring a little more about her, and seeing that she is dedicated to murals, all colorful and full of many figures, although in most of her work the art with flowers is present.

I think generating tranquility through art in murals that can be admired by anyone, is a silent therapy, which reaches the one who needs it at a certain time, as happened to me in this space, to which I came alarmed to check the health of my little one.

Durante la semana tuve que ir casi de emergencia a una cita médica con mi hijo. Y debo reconocer que si bien el servicio médico público no resulta tan malo en este país, yo soy bastante quizquillosa con las esperas y el pedir citas que son para un par de meses, cuando la necesidad es actual.

Ir a una sala de emergencia es algo que me da pavor, por lo que suelo optar siempre por la medicina privada.

Así que cuando mi niño se le complicó una gripe, no dudé en acudir al centro médico al que voy a hacerme mis chequeos ginecológicos, que tiene también otras especialidades, entre ellas la pediatría.

Llegando me sorprendió el hermoso mural que está en la entrada, son flores de diversas formas y colores, que dan una calidez a un ambiente que pudiera ser un tanto angustiante, al ser un lugar a donde se acude en busca de ayuda médica.

La edificación es realmente cálida, con muchas ventanas a través de las que pueden verse el mural y dejando la luz natural entrar e iluminar las paredes blancas del sitio.

Desde esas ventanas, mientras esperaba, pude tomar algunas de las fotografías, y luego de salir de la angustia con un diagnóstico que me tranquilizó bastante, y un récipe para comprar las medicinas, me dediqué a captar los detalles del principio del mural. Fue en esa zona donde vi que la autora es Sofiargulo, a quien pueden encontrar en IG como @soyfioo.

Me encantó explorar un poco más sobre ella, y ver que se dedica a murales, todos coloridos y llenos de muchas figuras, aunque en su mayoría el arte con flores está presente en su obra.

Creo que generar tranquilidad a través del arte en murales que pueden ser admirados por cualquiera, es una terapia silenciosa, que le llega al que la necesite en un momento determinado, tal como me pasó a mi en este espacio, al que acudí alarmada a chequear la salud de mi pequeño.
