Hello great people of Afri-tunes music community, how are you doing this week? I believe no cause for alarm. You are highly welcome to week #120, this is mamab's blog. I'm excited to share with you my entry for the week.

On this edition, I will be presenting an original song with my guitar. Actually, I used to have passion for playing acoustic guitar especially during my undergraduate days though I didn't have one. I bought the guitar during my final year from my pocket savings. I was a bit serious with the learning but became slack when I had a keyboard around me, maybe because I already knew how to play some keys 😊. So I'm trying to see if I can get back on track as @chidistickz is already firing on with key C 😁.

The title of my song is "Jesus go with you", though on social media platforms you will see it as "A prayer for you" (Blessing Rejoice).

The song is a prayer for anyone who wants to go far in life. Life is in stages, you can't thrive without prayer. This song was written particularly for a set of final year students in the university when I was the music director in the chapel. But I never had the chance to sing it to them because an impromptu journey took me out of town on the day of the final get together where I planned to present.

Eventually after some years, I fine tuned and dedicated it to everyone who has dreams of venturing into the wider world for great achievements in life and recorded it in the studio. You can check online for the full version. Enjoy the vibe with me 😊.
