Here comes the cheap cheap Hive drops
Unless of course this shit doesn't pull through.
Each time I came across a post talking about HBD APR changes I just couldn't help but think "FUD FUD FUD".
Power is quite the thing, a lot of people miss the actual plot behind events that occur out of the random, the funny thing here is that most things aren't random.
So my question now is "Why do you suddenly want a change in HBD APR when it has literally contributed some growth to the ecosystem?"
The bear market? Maybe, but that isn't a very straight forward answer.
For everyone else just outside looking in, blinded by bare words, there are many reasons why the APR is being suddenly discussed and this has a lot to do with "Change In Influence" the game of power.
What do I mean?
You'd have probably seen some comments where people say that people invested in HBD aren't working enough for what they are earning.
It is really crazy that someone out there risked over a million dollars in a very low cap stablecoin of a very small blockchain economy when crypto is constantly being attacked by the government and you'd come out and say they aren't working enough for the yield, did they steal the money they risked? Even if some did, lmao, is stealing easy?
It's crazy what people say when they fear their positions will be shaken.
Sure, I may be earning 20% on each dollar put into savings but you're forgetting that that is at the expense of 80% of what I'm putting in, no investment is without risk and 80% is a lot! And you know I can't even sue nobody if shit hits the fan because who's there to sue? Myself? Because holding Hive equally makes me part of the "owners of the network".
We talk about sustainability when we're not investing much in products and services in-demand to generate revenues, so each time we wake up on the wrong side of the bed and maybe have to remember a cheating wife or husband, we smoke some bad weed then head to our computer and make a mess.
A mess that will definitely affect all of us in the long run.
I don't know about you all but it really just seems like the fact that Hive is incredibly cheap right now is why some people are beginning to hate that others are basically printing easy money to accumulate more ok it while still having stable liquidity laying around.
So for the fact that buying Hive with these HBD interests can offset governance influence, it seems like a really great time to make the investment pot less attractive so that these players will leave.
And you wanna know what happens when they leave? At the instant a huge amount of hive is dumped, behind the scenes enforcers of these movements are right there to buy the cheap dump, keeping their influence intact.
Why would I even assert any of this? Well, the last time I checked reports from numerous persons on the health of HBD with its high interest payments, it has had no signal of catastrophe and we've even had different "proposals for community comments" on building products and services to bring more demand to the stablecoin.
So tell me Bob, how many witnesses have you been able to convince so far? let me know if here comes the cheap cheap Hive drops as HBD investors will look to abandon ship if this rate changes.
