Una tarde para jugar con mis hijas - An afternoon to play with my daughters [Esp-Eng]

Hola a todas las mamis y papis de @motherhood, como ya saben, estamos de vacaciones y oficialmente empezamos a escuchar la frase "estoy aburrida", aunque yo trabajo medio dia todavia en el colegio, estoy en las tardes con ellas en casa así que hoy aprovechamos para jugar un juego de chicas (como dicen ellas), y poder estrenar un juguete que les regalaron el domingo pasado dia del niño. Ellas mueren por que yo les pinte las uñas, les haga peinadas y las maquille, ese es nuestro famoso juego de SPA.

Les coloqué su mesa y sus sillas para que estuviesen cómodas, donde normalmente hacen sus tareas, pero antes de jugar me puse a leer las instrucciones, a probar las pinturas, colocar las baterías, la escarcha en la máquina y a tener todo listo para no volverme un ocho porque son juguetes que se deben manipular con cuidado, sobretodo los recipientes con escarcha. También para poder explicarles como funciona todo y puedan aprender.

Mi primera clienta en el Spa de uñas fue Marcela, llegó como toda una señora diciendo buenas tardes señorita jajaja, y ese diálogo fue el inicio de la actuación. Escogió sus colores y manos a la obra, le coloqué pintura rosada y escarchas plateadas, el juego tiene una máquina que simula una lámpara led pero es solo un ventilador que ayuda a secar más rápido. Mientras tanto hablamos de todo un poco y sobretodo del tema de comerse las uñas, algo que Marcela está haciendo desde un tiempo.

Miranda, mi segunda clienta esperó su turno (GLORIA A DIOS), quería el mismo color que yo me puse primero, ella muy obediente se dejó cortar, limar, pintar y esperó a que se le secaran, hablamos como si no nos conocieramos y de verdad que me reía muchísimo cuando se le escapaba un "mami" o "hermana" y rápido corregía para un "señorita" o "chica". Mi intención era alargar el juego lo más que pudiera pero para ellas el tiempo es otra cosa, entonces después de dos manos de pintura ellas tenían muchas cosas que hacer, su juego seguía en su cuarto.

Entonces me terminé de pintar yo, que normalmente no me las pinto pero la idea era estar en sintonía con ellas, me intentaron colocar escarcha y cuando ví que nada iba a terminar bien, tuve que cambiar la estrategia y una me pintaba y otra me secaba. Rapidito estábamos listas para enviarle fotos a papi mientras trabaja, es algo que a ellas les encanta, es normal que hacemos algo, o salimos, o pasa algo mientras él no está con nosotras e inmediatamente le enviamos notas de voz y fotos para que él cuando pueda les responda. Es su forma se hacerlo sentir cerca, y aunque hay días donde no lo ven, siempre hablan con él.

Jugar con tus hijos requiere tiempo que a veces no tenemos, pero es un tiempo muy bien invertido, yo DECIDÍ jugar con ellas hoy, los quehaceres esperaron un rato (y Hive también), luego pude continuar con mis tareas con ese rico sabor de boca que me deja ver sus sonrisas, escuchar cómo juegan y se divierten porque no me negué a hacer algo que ellas querían y se sienten complacidas de que por un momento fuimos 3 niñas que jugaban a ser grandes. Al rato volvieron con sus abrazos, con sus besos y con sus infinitas preguntas, por aquí están atentas a lo que hago en la computadora porque poco a poco entienden que yo también necesito unos minutos para hacer "mis cosas", y respetan, hay un límite, que a medida que crecen y con cada oportunidad voy reforzando de la mejor forma, con mucho amor. Nos divertimos mucho hoy y se que cada dia es una oportunidad para inventar juegos y disfrutar de nuestra compañía.

They are dying for me to paint their nails, do their hairstyles and make up, that is our famous SPA game.

I put their table and chairs so that they would be comfortable, where they normally do their homework, but before playing I started to read the instructions, test the paints, put the batteries, the frost in the machine and have everything ready so as not to become an eight because they are toys that must be handled with care, especially containers with frost. Also to be able to explain how everything works and they can learn.

My first client at the Nail Spa was Marcela, she came like a lady saying good afternoon, miss hahaha, and that dialogue was the beginning of the performance. He chose his colors and got to work, I put pink paint and silver glitter on it, the game has a machine that simulates a led lamp but it's just a fan that helps dry faster. In the meantime, we talk about everything and especially about biting nails, something Marcela has been doing for a while.

Miranda, my second client waited her turn (GLORY TO GOD), she wanted the same color that I put on first, she very obediently let herself be cut, filed, painted and waited for them to dry, we talked as if we didn't know each other and I really laughed a lot when she said "mommy" or "sister" and quickly corrected for a "lady" or "girl". My intention was to extend the game as long as possible but for them time is something else, so after two coats of paint they had many things to do, their game was still in their room.

Then I finished painting myself, I normally don't paint them but the idea was to be in tune with them, they tried to put glitter on me and when I saw that nothing was going to end well, I had to change the strategy and one painted me and another dried me. Quickly we were ready to send photos to daddy while he works, it's something they love, it's normal that we do something, or go out, or something happens while he's not with us and we immediately send him voice notes and photos so that he can reply to them when he can. It is his way of making him feel close, and although there are days when they don't see him, they always talk to him.

Playing with your children requires time that sometimes we don't have, but it's time well invested, I DECIDED to play with them today, chores waited a while (and Hive too), then I was able to continue with my homework with that rich taste in my mouth that lets me see their smiles, hear how they play and have fun because I didn't refuse to do something they wanted and they feel pleased that for a moment we were 3 girls playing at being big . After a while they returned with their hugs, with their kisses and with their infinite questions, around here they are attentive to what I do on the computer because little by little they understand that I also need a few minutes to do "my things", and they respect, there is a limit, that as they grow and with each opportunity I am reinforcing in the best way, with a lot of love. We had a lot of fun today and I know that every day is an opportunity to invent games and enjoy our company.
