Day of Love and Friendship, Valentine's Day or Valentine's Day, February 14 has become a very recognized day, so much so that my 6-year-old daughter asked me that I was going to give her because she and I are in love 😂😍 every year it becomes more commercial but the truth is, there are few February 14th in which My Love and I gave each other great gifts that I remember. And it's not that we don't give it importance, it's that we try to be special to each other throughout the year and not just on a specific date. The details, the attention, the surprises, are things of our day to day despite all the occupations and our routines. So, I thank @marivic10 for the invitation to share a part of my love story with everyone and tell them about that man who fills my days with love.
Our story began when we were 13 years old and it was the first day of 9th grade (or 3rd year of high school), my best friend and I were new to that section and he was that funny boy, or rather clown, was also the tallest and with the typical body of a baseball player. We looked at each other laughing and I think everyone noticed the spark. It turns out that little by little we became friends and we began to do work together and other activities, from one day to the next he had my home phone number and called me every night, we spent hours talking and the next day at school we were as if nothing so that others would not notice. We became engaged after 2 months and have been inseparable. When we graduated from high school I went to another city to study and he was signed by the Detroit Tigers and he had to travel a lot, despite that we never stopped being boyfriends, we never let the magic get lost.
Our relationship had many obstacles to overcome, the distance could only separate us more or unite us and the truth made us stronger. I always remember his long distance calls, the surprise gifts he sent me or even his unexpected arrivals, his invented departures and the way in which he has always made me feel unique in his life, that's why I can only describe him as a happy, dreamy man. and very hard working. For years we received criticism and were judged by the way in which we lived our courtship, people cannot believe that two people who are not physically together love and respect each other for a long time and more, that they have dreams and projects to fulfill.
I fell deeply in love with Marcelo, his dreams were mine, his fight was mine and that's how I accompanied him in his career and I was his No. 1 fan, that's how we spent years, and one day, At a farewell, we promised to get married on our 10th anniversary. He returned from the United States and on 12/13/2014, accompanied by our closest friends, we said yes, I accept! Our life changed and everything turned into a wonderful dream, in which we have lived ever since.
Our happiness was completed with the arrival of our first daughter Marcela, I began to discover a new facet in the personality of that wonderful man with whom I fell in love and every day made me happier, then he arrived Miranda and I can tell you with all the confidence in the world that being with him, accepting him, letting him into my life has been the best decision I've ever made. We are a family of 4 but we are still Him and Me, the same fun children, the same dreamers and the same lovers from the beginning.
More than 18 years have passed since we secretly gave each other that first kiss at school, since we only spoke to each other with a glance, and although the circumstances are no longer the same, our relationship is the same as always, accomplices, allies, confidants, friends, parents, and lovers. I feel very lucky to live this love story and to be the protagonist, I would not change anything from our past and I confess that I am very proud of my husband and my marriage because it is all I ever wanted to have. We receive God's blessing and we are overcoming stages that make us grow as individuals and as a couple. Raising our daughters is a fundamental common value that leads us by the hand along a path full of light.

Día del Amor y la Amistad, Día de San Valentín o Día de los Enamorados, el 14 de Febrero se ha convertido en un día muy reconocido, tanto, que mi hija de 6 años me preguntó que le iba a regalar porque ella y yo estamos enamoradas 😂😍 cada año se vuelve más comercial pero la verdad, son pocos los 14 de febrero en el que Mi Amor y yo nos dimos grandes regalos que yo recuerde. Y no es que no le demos importancia, es que tratamos de ser especiales el uno con el otro durante todo el año y no solo una fecha específica. Los detalles, la atención, las sorpresas, son cosas de nuestro día a día a pesar de todas las ocupaciones y nuestras rutinas. Entonces, agradezco a @marivic10 por la invitación para compartir con todos una parte de mi historia de amor y hablarles de ese hombre que llena mis días de amor.
Nuestra historia comenzó cuando teníamos 13 años y era el primer día de clases de noveno grado (o 3er año de bachillerato), mi mejor amiga y yo éramos las nuevas en esa sección y él era ese muchacho divertido, o payaso mejor dicho, también era el más alto y con el cuerpo típico de un pelotero. Nos mirábamos entre risas y creo que todo el mundo noto la chispa. Resulta que poco a poco nos hicimos amigos y comenzamos a hacer trabajos juntos y otras actividades, de un día para otro el tenía el número de teléfono de mi casa y me llamaba todas las noches, pasábamos horas hablando y al otro día en el colegio estábamos como si nada para que los demás no lo notaran. Nos hicimos novios después de 2 meses y hemos sido inseparables. Al graduarnos de bachillerato yo me fui a otra ciudad a estudiar y el fue firmado por los Tigres de Detroit y tuvo que viajar mucho, a pesar de eso nunca dejamos de ser novios, nunca dejamos que se perdiera la magia.
Nuestra relación tuvo muchos obstáculos que superar, la distancia solo nos podría separar más o unirnos y la verdad nos hizo más fuertes. Siempre recuerdo sus llamadas de larga distancia, los regalos sorpresa que me enviaba o incluso sus llegadas inesperadas, sus salidas inventadas y la forma en la que siempre me ha hecho sentir única en su vida, por eso solo puedo describirlo como un hombre alegre, soñador y muy trabajador. Durante años recibimos críticas y fuimos juzgados por la forma en la que vivimos nuestro noviazgo, la gente no puede creer que dos personas que no estén juntas físicamente se amen y se respeten durante un tiempo prolongado y más, que tengan sueños y proyectos por cumplir.
Me enamoré de Marcelo profundamente, sus sueños eran los míos, su lucha era la mía y así lo acompañé en su carrera y fui su fanática N° 1, así pasamos años, y un día, en una despedida, nos prometimos casarnos al cumplir 10 años de novios. El regresó de Estados Unidos y un 13/12/2014, acompañados de nuestros más allegados nos dijimos ¡Sí, acepto! Nuestra vida cambió y todo se convirtió en un sueño maravilloso, en el que hemos vivido desde entonces.
Nuestra felicidad se completó con la llegada de nuestra primera hija Marcela, empecé a conocer una nueva faceta en la personalidad de ese hombre maravilloso del que me enamoré y cada día me hacía más feliz, luego llegó Miranda y les puedo decir con toda la seguridad del mundo que estar con él, aceptarlo, dejarlo entrar a mi vida ha sido la mejor decisión que he tomado. Formamos una familia de 4 pero seguimos siendo Él y Yo, los mismos niños divertidos, los mismos soñadores y los mismos enamorados del principio.
Han pasado más de 18 años desde que nos dimos ese primer beso a escondidas en el colegio, desde que nos hablábamos solo con una mirada, y aunque las circunstancias ya no son iguales, nuestra relación es la misma de siempre, complices, aliados, confidentes, amigos, padres, y enamorados. Me siento muy afortunada de vivir esta historia de amor y de ser la protagonista, no cambiaría nada de nuestro pasado y les confieso que estoy muy orgullosa de mi esposo y de mi matrimonio porque es todo lo que siempre quise tener. Recibimos la bendición de Dios y vamos superando etapas que nos hacen crecer como individuos y como pareja, la crianza de nuestras hijas es un valor fundamental en común y que nos lleva de la mano por un camino lleno de luz.
Espero que su vida esté llena de amor del bueno y del bonito, de momentos inolvidables y de personas que te hagan sentir afortunado no solo en el mes del amor y la amistad, sino cada día de tu vida. Nos leemos pronto ❣️
