No matter how slight, things we do and decisions we make shape us. And we are shaped even more by those things and decisions we make consistently and regualrly.
This is why we need to devote lots of time to become excellent at something. It could take the proverbial ten thousand hours (or even longer), but it could also take less time. What matters is that we devote sufficient time in order to realize our goals.
This is how habits are developed: consistent exercise and practice. It's also just as true for vices as it is for virtues, so we need to be careful with what we prioritize to to consistently.

Tony Robbins grew his following-- in the time before the Internet became known the the world-- by writing books and copying the content from paper to audio cassettes (and later optical discs). Also part of the growth of his popularity was the use of infomercials and DVDs, and later smartphone apps. He even hosted a short-lived reality TV series in 2010 titled Breakthrough with Tony Robbins.
Although Tony Robbins had been a motivational speaker for a long time, in recent years he had shifted his focus to speaking about finanacial success. Along with this shift in emphasis came services tailored to entrepreneurs, business owners, wealthy people, and those with high net worth.
