Microsoft Word 365 - How to remove the header on the last page

avatar

Hi everyone. Unless you're super familiar with doing headers in microsoft word, you will most likely forget sometimes how to have different headers on different pages, as by default every single page will have the same header.

So what you want to do is to create a section break between two pages. This means that before the second break you will have a different section to the page after the section break, and in different sections you can have different headers.

However, after you have two sections, you'll still find that if you delete or change a header in section 2, section 1 will also change to match section 2. So what is the point of doing this? This is because there is a button called "same as previous" which you need to click on. After you click this button, the two sections won't be linked anymore, so you can either delete or change the header in one section and it won't change the other section.

Hope this helps you in your Microsoft Word journey :)

Your writing is interesting because there are many people who do not know how to work with the sections.
