Magic Monk Achievements - 150 Hive Prize Pool
Firstly I want to thank @ausbitbank for generating the monk picture with my face :) I recommend checking out his AI art generator discord bot (details in this article: Our new stable diffusion discord bot | PeakD).
In this article I am launching of the "Magic Monk Achievements" initiative (previously it was a gaming only initiative Magic Monk Arcades). The reason why the Magic Monk Arcades idea didn't do super well was because people needed to meet at a specific time to compete in a particular game to win HIVE. As Hive is a world wide platform, it is not easy for people to arrange a time to meet.
Now rebranded "Magic Monk Achievements", I will allow people to demonstrate their achievements in their own time, and not have to meet up at a certain time to compete, taking out a lot of the blockers / obstacles in the way of winning the HIVE.
Another reason why it is now called Magic Monk Achievements is that not all achievements will be gaming related. For example this is a typing challenge, which is basically a skill ather than a game. Future challenges could include games also but it could be as simple as being able to do 20 pushups (this is not a challenge yet!).
So the first achievement is simple:
Achievement 1: Type on average over 100 words/minute on Nitrotype with at least 10 total races.
How to demonstrate this achievement:
Step 1: Join Nitrotype www.nitrotype.com by creating your own login. Please ensure the word "HIVE" is included in your display name.
Step 2: Start racing on Nitrotype by clicking the Race Now button (screenshot below). Do a minimum of 10 races.
Step 3: Find out your public profile link by clicking the red circles in the screenshot below:
Step 4: Monitor your AVG WPM on your public profile URL (e.g. mine is here: Eddie the Magic Monk's Nitro Racer Profile (nitrotype.com))
Step 5: Simply comment your nitrotype profile under this article for me to check. I will be looking for the word HIVE in your display name on your public profile URL.
I will reward anyone who demonstrates this achievement with 10 Hive, up to a limit of 5 people. The first 5 people to comment in this article proving they have achieved this will get the 10 Hive, hence in total 50 HIVE is up for grabs.

Achievement 2: Defeat Magic Monk in Nitrotype
Even though this requires versing me in real time and has little chance of someone taking up the offer, I know how fun it is and look forward to someone taking it up one day.
You can see in my public profile that my average WPM is only 124. https://www.nitrotype.com/racer/eddiethemagicmonk This is because in Nitrotype you can never tell what happens in a match - sometimes you get a piece of text with words that you've never seen before and that slows you right down. Other types you made one mistake and your whole race is ruined.
In other words, don't be afraid to challenge me! Anything can happen.
Because of the high prize of 100 Hive, I will only give this to the first person to complete the challenge. Nobody has challenged me yet!

Wow, I was not aware that you own such a website. I saw your article this morning and I have joined this interesting game and been playing it as well.
I'm very glad to see what you have created like, it is so engaging eapecially a good thing for students and those who want to increase their typing speed. I have done a lot of typing practise when I had a laptop an year ago but those websites were fine and they might have a lack of something, like some sort of gap they had to keep an interest between the user but your website is totally different, like who had imagined that you can do this by playing and challenging car racing game.
My typing speed is not bad If I have a laptop but as I did this from my phone so it is totally different and it is quite tricky to do so as each time the screen shrinks itself which causes me to fill each time.
Well as you said I've played it but as it was quite engaging so couldn't stop myself from playing it again and again and finally I raced more then 20 and I'm looking forward to it playing more and more below is my profile link. Thanks for creating such engaging and interesting thing.

When I started playing this game, I had no idea how long I would play it. But when I found out how it was played and got many friend requests, I played the game many times. I noticed how my typing speed is increasing with time. Your typing speed is really fast. I don't think I'll ever get there. I know you have put a lot of time behind it. I really enjoyed playing this game and will be playing it again

LOL! This game is so fun, I used to do typing speed battles with my classmates in college in the computer room. All this time, I thought my typing speed was fast but this game proved me wrong! hahaha! I like that it shows how accurately I am typing at my pace, it gives me a feeling of how I should improve my skill.
