BYD Atto 3 - How to unplug / disconnect charger
Hey guys. As you know I recently picked up a brand new BYD Atto 3 electric car. I drove the car home happily and put it on charge. The next day, I woke up and tried to disconnect the charger. Guess what - I can't pull it off.
I initially thought it's because there's still power coming through, so I turned the switch off at the wall, hoping that the car will let me pull the charger out if there is no power. Unfortunately, it's still stuck.
It turns out that there is a button you have to press on the remote to disconnect the charger. Otherwise it will be locked to the car.
If you had to find out this information yourself, you'd have to go to page 86 on the owner's manual and find one of the paragraphs on that page.
