Indiscutiblemente, los tiempos y las sociedades han cambiado, respecto a los hombres y mujeres. ¿Quién lo iba a decir? Los hombres que no lavaban ni un plato y que ni siquiera sabían el nombre de sus hijos. Hoy colaboran y participan en sus hogares. En sus tiempos libres van de paseo con sus hijos y familia. También cocinan, lavan, riegan las plantas, van a la escuela por sus hijos, en fin ayudan en todo lo que antes solo era exclusivo de las madres.

Cuando los veo en el parque con sus hijos en los hombros o llevando un coche, sonriendo o limpiándolos sus lágrimas porque se tropezaron, mi corazón se estremece de alegría. Siento que era necesario que la figura del padre fuera más relevante dentro del hogar. Hombres que aman y expresan sus sentimientos, abrazan y no sé amena de decir. “Te quiero”. Una nueva generación que apuestan por sus hijos y la familia.

La culpa ha sido de la sociedad matriarcal. Aunque ustedes no lo crean, quien impulsa el machismo es la mujer. La madre de épocas anteriores, no permitían que sus hijos lavaran ni un plato o realizar cualquier actividad en el hogar. Anteriormente decían:

-Macho que se respetaba, no hace quehaceres del hogar porque se metían a mujercitas-

Siempre ha habido excepciones a las reglas de la sociedad y al machismo, como por ejemplo mi familia. Mi padre y mis hermanos participaban en todas las actividades de mi hogar y les fascinaba cocinar. Cada uno tenía un plato que lo caracterizaba. Las pastas campesinas, el pato al coco y el corbullon de cangrejos de mi hermano Luis. El sancocho de pescado de mi papá; los bollitos pelones y sancocho de costillas de Manuel. Los dulces de guayaba, mango y jobo de Moisés.

El amor por la cocina viene de generación en generación, mis sobrinos cocinan delicioso, Moisés y Eduardo. Al primero sus pizzas, golfeados y pollo al curry. Y al segundo, es el señor de los panes y la paella le quedan deliciosas. Daniel, es especialista en arroz chino. En cuanto a mi hijo Jesús, este no se queda atrás, prepara tostones, pollo y papas fritas. Es el que tiende la masa de las hallacas.

Volviendo al tema, disculpen, es que siempre me emociono y me voy por la tangente. El tiempo ha avanzado y las sociedades gracias a Dios también, aunque a ese nivel todavía se encuentran muchos casos. Dónde el hombre se cree que en vez de la esposa, se casó con una cachifa y peor aún cuando la suegra dice:"A mi hijo solo le gusta mi comida”. Dan ganas de matarlas. Lo ideal es que todos los miembros en el hogar tengan tareas asignadas. Sobre todo, los hombres.

Hay que romper paradigmas obsoletos, el mundo ha cambiado y nosotros debemos hacerlo también. La educación viene del hogar, desde allí es donde se forjan los hombres de bien. En la actualidad la madre merece ser considerada y respetada. Así como mamá prepara las comidas en su hogar para sus hijos y su pareja, también ellos pueden atender a mamá. Hay que criar hombres de bien, atentos, respetuosos, educados, responsables, entre otros.

Me gusta y apoyo el vuelco que ha dado la sociedad desplazando los viejos esquemas. Sobre todo, el cambio de pensamiento de las madres, que permiten a sus hijos ser lo que ellos deseen. Quizás para algunas personas esto no es relevante, pero creo que están equivocados. Aunque respeto la opinión de los demás, ya que los individuos, hombres que expresan sus emociones y sentimientos, tienen más fortaleza para enfrentar la vida y pueden tener relaciones estables.

Los padres deben motivar a sus hijos para que descubran sus talentos y puedan demostrar sus habilidades. Hacer lo que en realidad nos gusta, impulsa a al ser humano a levantarse todos los días y luchar. Sin importar si se tiene un título, ya que las habilidades y destrezas también nos sirven para emprender en cualquier área. En la actualidad, cocinar no es solo de mujeres, los también hombres incursionan en la cocina y ser Chef es un reto para ellos.

Detrás de un buen hijo hay una madre que lo impulso y lo ayudo sin ponerle obstáculos a sus sueños. Sobre todo, cuando se le enseña a poner el corazón en todo lo que se hace y esto es un ingrediente secreto para que todo les salga bien.

Amigas de #Motherhood, la Vida de mamá es lo mejor que me ha pasado, siempre hice lo posible de guiar a mi hijo Jesús para que pueda cumplir sus sueños y anhelos de su corazón. Como todas las madres he cometido errores, pero nadie es perfecto, lo importante es amar y rectificar.
