El nacimiento de un nuevo ser y el milagro de la vida, es la mayor felicidad que reciben los padres y la familia. Indiscutiblemente, es algo sublime y mágico; vienen a irradiar luz en el planeta. Es una sensación inigualable la de llevar en los brazos y amamantar a un bebe; darle amor, dedicación, seguridad y protección. También cambiarle los pañales, llevarlos al parque, educarlos, y guiarlos en la sociedad. Además, hacerles todas sus fiestas, sobre todo en mi país, donde nos gustan los pachangones y buscamos cualquier pretexto para celebrar.

Celebramos baby shower, los meaos, bautizos, cumpleaños, comunión, y pare de contar. Antes del nacimiento en muchos países del mundo, se les da la bienvenida a los regalos para el bebe. En mi país es un país como todos en el planeta que a aun cuando tiene su cultura e idiosincrasia arraigada, la globalización ha permitido ingresar costumbres de otros países. Como es el caso de la fiesta para darle la bienvenida al bebe, en las familias que tenían posibilidad de viajar este contacto permitió ingresar esta fiesta.

En la actualidad este modismo, entre los venezolanos, se ha generalizado e incorporado y forma parte del patrimonio del pueblo. En algunos hogares se realiza la mencionada fiesta, con lo que se disponga o tenga a la mano, lo importante es celebrar. Esta celebración permite a los padres tener un conocimiento de lo que tiene el bebe y de lo que falta por adquirir, con lo cual minimizan los gastos del parto, ya que en la actualidad la situación económica está muy difícil. Pero… La familia unida, apoyándose unos a otros, con mucho a amor, salen adelante y no se rinden ante los obstáculos.

Para los venezolanos el nacimiento de un niño es motivo de celebración y alegría para toda la familia. El baby shower es una celebración muy bonita donde participan los amigos y la familia, incluyendo hombres y niños. La madre escoge un tema y color para la decoración, juegos y regalos para las rifas. También los dulces, pasapalos, torta y la música. Generalmente, se realiza después de los siete meses y la celebración va a depender de las posibilidades de los padres. Con ciertas modificaciones y adaptaciones. .

A mi familia le gustan las celebraciones, y les cuento amigos de #Motherhood, estamos felices y nos estamos preparando para darle la bienvenida al nuevo miembro y la princesa de tía Mafa, mi sobrina Rosalbita esta muy emocionada, y yo soy una tía feliz.

¡Feliz!…

Rosalbita esta un poco cansada porque la barriguita cada día crece más. Comparto con ustedes la felicidad que me embarga y anunciarles que dentro de unos meses llegara un nuevo miembro de mi familia y es una niña.

Si ¡Niña!… Princesa Lia Sophia

El fin de semana la familia se reunió y los que no pudimos estar físicamente lo disfrutamos mediante una video llamada. Doy gracias ala tecnología que nos ha permitido permanecer comunicados. Fue una sorpresa para Rosalbita; los invitados llegaron con todo para la fiesta de bienvenida o Baby Shower. Toda la decoración fue de color rosada y globos en forma de flores. También chucherías, torta, quesillos, pasapalos, suspiros. No podían faltar los juegos; los hombres aprendieron a poner pañales y tomaron leche en biberones.

Es impresionante como los invitados y más aún los familiares se involucran en la celebración. Eso entrelaza los lazos de hermandad, con el solo hecho de participar, ya hace de estas celebraciones una gran fiesta para darle la Bienvenida a ese hermoso ser que vendrá a hacer felices a sus familiares y amigos. Gema Victoria, su hermanita, fue la que conspiro y organizo con la familia para realizar el evento. Además, fue la anfitriona y protagonista de esta celebración. Dirigió los juegos y decidió los pasapalos y dulces se presentarían.

Hago un paréntesis para decir, que involucrar a los niños es fundamental para mantener un ambiente sano en el hogar, ya que con la llegada de los hermanitos, ellos tienden a sentirse minimizados y se les baja la autoestima. Comienzan a guardar rencores. Por esta razón hay que incorporarlos en todas las actividades; tales como, compra de ropa y utensilios, decoración y regalos.

Over the weekend the family got together and those of us who couldn't be there physically enjoyed it through a video call. I give thanks to the technology that allowed us to stay in touch. It was a surprise for Rosalbita; the guests arrived with everything for the baby shower. All the decoration was pink and balloons in the shape of flowers. Also sweets, cake, cheese, pastries and sighs. The men learned how to put on diapers and drank milk from bottles.

It is impressive how the guests and even more the family members get involved in the celebration. That intertwines the bonds of brotherhood, with the mere fact of participating, makes these celebrations a great party to welcome this beautiful being that will come to make their family and friends happy. Gema Victoria, his little sister, was the one who conspired and organized the event with the family. She was also the hostess and protagonist of this celebration. She directed the games and decided the snacks and sweets that would be presented.

I digress to say that involving the children is fundamental to maintain a healthy home environment, since with the arrival of siblings, they tend to feel minimized and their self-esteem is lowered.
