Recientemente se celebró en algunos estados del país incluyendo mi ciudad Maracaibo el Festival Viva Venezuela Mundial, dicho evento tenía como objetivo potenciar todas las manifestaciones culturales del país y enaltecer nuestra identidad como venezolanos que somos.

Mi familia y yo asistimos por casualidad al festival, ya que no teníamos conocimiento del mismo. Ese día sábado fuimos a caminar al parque Ana María Campos para relajarnos y disfrutar un día en familia, luego ir a comer un helado en el área de los locales de comida, pero cuando llegamos notamos que había una enorme tarima y nos percatamos de que en una hora iba a realizarse un festival de música, sin muchas expectativas nos sentamos en primera fila ya que no habían muchas personas en el sitio.

My family and I attended the festival by chance, as we had no knowledge of it. That Saturday we went for a walk to Ana María Campos Park to relax and enjoy a family day, then go eat ice cream in the food stalls area, but when we arrived we noticed that there was a huge stage and we realized that in an hour there was going to be a music festival, without many expectations we sat in the front row since there were not many people there.

Subieron a la tarima una chica y un joven quienes eran los presentadores del festival, hablaron sobre los grupos musicales y otras manifestaciones culturales que se presentarían, realmente quedé sorprendida por la calidad que prometía el evento.

Fue un espectáculo muy completo, se presentaron grupos de gaitas muy reconocidos en la ciudad, como Maragaita, Cardenales del Exito, Saladillo70, entre otros. Mi esposo estaba feliz, él es fan de la gaita y no siempre se tiene la oportunidad de ver un espectáculo como ese sin ningún costo y en primera fila. Bailamos y cantamos, lo que sería un simple paseo resultó ser una noche mágica.

Tomé muchas fotos en el festival y se las iré mostrando en esta y otras publicaciones ya que solo una publicación no sería suficiente. Además de grupos de gaita pudimos disfrutar de otras manifestaciones culturales, academias de danza folklórica, tambores y hasta la red de circo de la ciudad.
