Sospechoso X - Suspect X - 2023 - [Movie Review]
Hola amigos de Movies & TV Shows, el fin de semana estaba buscando que ver en Netflix y me encontré con esta película, no creo haber visto una película India en mi vida, por lo que al principio no me llamo mucho la atención, la verdad no tengo conocimientos de qué estilos manejan ni de sus actores, en fin, le di una oportunidad.
Sospechoso X o Jaane jaan en Hindi, se estrenó este año, esta basada en una novela japonesa llamada The Devotion of Suspect X publicada en 2005 por el autor Keigo Higashin, esta película trata sobre una madre soltera y su hija que se ven implicadas en un asesinato y su misterioso vecino un profesor experto en matemáticas se ofrece ayudarlas, mientras que a la ciudad llega un policía que comienza su investigación por descubrir y atrapar al culpable.
Hello friends of Movies & TV Shows, over the weekend I was looking for what to watch on Netflix and I came across this movie, I don't think I've ever seen an Indian movie in my life, so at first I didn't call much attention, the truth is I have no knowledge of what styles they handle or their actors, anyway, I gave it a try.
Suspect X or Jaane jaan in Hindi, was released this year, it is based on a Japanese novel called The Devotion of Suspect X published in 2005 by author Keigo Higashin, this movie is about a single mother and her daughter who are involved in a murder and their mysterious neighbor a professor expert in mathematics offers to help them, while a policeman arrives in the city and begins his investigation to discover and catch the culprit.

La sinopsis no necesita tantos detalles, básicamente de esto se trata, una investigación en el que la madre se ve envuelta y un profesor muy inteligente trata hasta el final de ayudarla a salir de esto, la película es larga a mi parecer, dura 2 h 19 min, escenarios ambientados en una pequeña ciudad de la India, con una tonalidad un poco oscura, muy sencilla y sin tantos efectos, pero no le quita impresión, la verdad es que desde que ocurre el crimen la película comienza a causar intriga y curiosidad, ya que no se sabe que esperar en cada escena y eso mantiene al espectador atento.
The synopsis does not need so many details, basically this is what it is about, an investigation in which the mother is involved and a very smart teacher tries until the end to help her out of this, the film is long in my opinion, lasts 2 h 19 min, scenarios set in a small town in India, with a little dark tone, very simple and without many effects, but it does not take away impression, the truth is that since the crime occurs the film begins to cause intrigue and curiosity, because you do not know what to expect in each scene and that keeps the viewer attentive.

Maya D´sousa la madre interpretada por Kareena kapoor, es una mujer hermosa, dedicada a su hija, oculta un pasado triste cuando vivía con su esposo antes de tener a su hija, es de carácter fuerte y una mujer reservada, solo enfocada en lo sus asuntos, huyendo de su pasado para tener un presente tranquilo para ella y su hija. Mientras que su vecino, el profesor Naren Vyas interpretado por Jaideep Ahlawat, es una persona solitaria y con muy pocas habilidades sociales, a pesar de ser muy conocido por todos en la zona donde vive, pero muy extraordinario con las matemáticas, dedica su vida a resolver problemas matemáticos complicados que aún no tienen resolución, su amor son las matemáticas.
Maya D'sousa the mother played by Kareena Kapoor, is a beautiful woman, dedicated to her daughter, she hides a sad past when she lived with her husband before having her daughter, she is a strong character and a reserved woman, only focused on her business, running away from her past to have a peaceful present for her and her daughter. While her neighbor, Professor Naren Vyas played by Jaideep Ahlawat, is a lonely person with very few social skills, despite being well known by everyone in the area where he lives, but very extraordinary with mathematics, he dedicates his life to solve complicated mathematical problems that still have no resolution, his love is mathematics.

Naren siente cierto interés por Maya, pero es demasiado tímido como para tener algún contacto con ella, así sea solo un saludo, por lo que a pesar de ser vecinos no tienen ningún tipo relación ni de amistad, a penas y se conocen. Un hecho desafortunado y crítico en casa de Maya es el inicio para que los dos comiencen a tener contacto, ya que Naren se ofrece ayudarla a salir de su terrible situación, sus conocimientos matemáticos y su extraordinario talento en la lógica y cuidado por los detalles son la clave importante para lograr una resolución a este problema que enfrenta su vecina. Para agregarle dificultad al problema, llega a la ciudad un policía llamado Karan Anand (Vijay Varma) apasionado por su trabajo que no descansara hasta encontrar al culpable, su experiencia y conocimientos policiacos serán un obstáculo para el profesor Naren.
Naren feels some interest in Maya, but he is too shy to have any contact with her, even just a greeting, so despite being neighbors they do not have any kind of relationship or friendship, they barely know each other. An unfortunate and critical event at Maya's house is the beginning for the two to begin to have contact, as Naren offers to help her out of her terrible situation, his mathematical knowledge and his extraordinary talent in logic and attention to detail are the important key to achieve a resolution to this problem facing his neighbor. To add difficulty to the problem, a policeman named Karan Anand (Vijay Varma) arrives in town, passionate about his job and will not rest until he finds the culprit, his experience and police knowledge will be an obstacle for Professor Naren.

En mi opinión la película me impresionó mucho, cuando comenzó no lograba atraparme, pero cuando ocurre el crimen ya empezaba a intrigarme poco a poco, el ingenio del profesor era realmente extraordinario, no sabes exactamente qué está haciendo o tramando para resolver el problema, pero cada movimiento de Naren está fríamente calculado y sé irá revelando a medida que transcurre la película lo cual te dejara sorprendido, estoy segua. La actuación de Jaideep me gustó, aunque puede mejorar, pero si logró causarme dudas de qué clase de persona era, no podía descifrar exactamente si era o no una buena persona en la cual confiar, aunque el mero acto de ayudar a una madre soltera en problemas hablaba de su buen corazón tenía un lado frío y oscuro que pudo dejar en evidencia ya casi al final de la película, por lo que siento que transmitió muy bien la esencia del personaje y el final es realmente inesperado.
In my opinion the movie impressed me a lot, when it started it didn't manage to catch me, but when the crime happens I was intrigued little by little, the ingenuity of the professor was really extraordinary, you don't know exactly what he is doing or plotting to solve the problem, but each movement of Naren is coldly calculated and it will be revealed as the movie goes on which will leave you surprised, I'm sure. I liked Jaideep's performance, although it can improve, but it did manage to cause me doubts of what kind of person he was, I couldn't decipher exactly if he was or not a good person to trust, although the mere act of helping a single mother in trouble spoke of his good heart he had a cold and dark side that he was able to leave in evidence already almost at the end of the movie, so I feel he conveyed very well the essence of the character and the ending is really unexpected.

Me gusto la película, me alegró haberle dado una oportunidad a esta producción, superó las expectativas que le tenía al principio, cada descubrimiento me dejaba perpleja, no pude anticiparlo en ningún momento, por lo que con eso ya se gana un espacio en mi lista de buenas películas para ver, se las recomiendo totalmente, muchas gracias por haberme leído, les deseo una exitosa semana.
I liked the movie, I was glad to have given this production a chance, it exceeded the expectations I had at the beginning, every discovery left me perplexed, I could not anticipate it at any time, so with that it already earns a space in my list of good movies to see, I totally recommend it, thank you very much for reading me, I wish you a successful week.

I'm writing the movie down to look for it on netflix, I like investigative and crime stories, plus it's Indian, I like it when they are from other parts of the world than Hollywood.
No doubt you will like it, I hope they continue to bring out good movies outside the Hollywood industry, the truth is that despite not being a very large or expensive production as we are used to, they did a great job, has a lot of ingenuity, greetings friend.
