My first time in Colonia Tovar with my boyfriend and friends! 😍- ENG / SPA -
Hello to this beautiful community, today I come to talk about my first time in Colonia Tovar, I went with beautiful friends from church and my boyfriend. We met at the Parish House and left for our destination. The man took the route from Candelaria to El Junquito, it was very fun because he was with my friends from the Choir. We were singing cool songs and knowing the way, once we got to the little town the weather started to get cold and there was fog, you know you are arriving because you see the architecture of the area, a house with red roofs, white painted walls and painted beams. in black, wooden doors and windows with mats. It really is super beautiful, it is a place that I recommend you go to.
Hola a esta hermosa comunidad hoy vengo hablar sobre mi primera vez en la Colonia Tovar fui con amistades hermosas de la iglesia y mi novio. nos encontramos en la Casa Parroquial y nos fuimos para nuestro destino. El señor tomo la ruta desde candelaria hacia el junquito fue muy divertido porque estaba con mis amistades del Coro. Íbamos cantando canciones cheveres y pues yo conociendo el camino, una vez llegamos al junquito el clima empezó a ser frio y habia neblina, sabes que estas llegando porque ves la arquitectura de la zona casa con techos rojos, paredes pintadas de blanco y las vigas pintadas en color negro, puertas y ventadas de madera con materos. De verdad que es super hermoso es un lugar que recomiendo que vayan.
The Lord left us in the center, we arrived around 9:00 am and he picked us up at 3:00 pm to return to Caracas. As we had gone in a group, some decided to stay in the town, eat in the restaurants that were nearby, visit the church which is beautiful, there was a bazaar so in the town as such there is a world but I wanted to go to typical places in Colonia Tovar. My friends and my boyfriend went out to look for an agency that gives tours in the area, they take you to the places and at the last stop they give you a soft drink or national beer. They also explain to you that they only take you to 5 places, you have to choose the places you want to visit. I will mention the options: Chocolateria, Galleteria, Cerveceria Coloniera, Wines, Sausages, Kabrita, Hortensias, La Ballesta, Beer Museum and Casita del Arbol (Pd: if you go to Casita del Arbol you must pay $1 for maintenance).
El Señor nos dejó en el centro llegamos a eso de las 9:00am y nos pasaba buscando a las 3:00pm para el retorno a Caracas. como habíamos ido en grupo algunos decidieron quedarse en el pueblo comer en los restaurant que estaban cerca, visitar la iglesia que es preciosa, habia un bazar entonces en el pueblo como tal existe un mundo pero yo queria ir a lugares típicos de la Colonia Tovar. Mis amigas y mi novio salieron a buscar una agencia que realiza los tour por la zona te llevan a los lugares y en la ultima parada te dan un refresco o cerveza nacional. tambien te explican que tienen que solo te llevan a 5 lugares tu tienes que escoger los lugares que quieres visitar. les mencionare las opciones: Chocolatería, Galletería, Cervecería Coloniera, Vinos, Embutidos, Kabrita, Hortensias, La Ballesta, Museo de la Cerveza y Casita del Árbol (Pd: si van a la Casita del Árbol deben pagar 1$ para mantenimiento).
We took the following places: La Chocolateria, Los Embutidos, La Cerveceria, La Casita del Arbol and La Ballesta. In this paragraph I am going to talk about my experiences in these places so that you are encouraged to visit this beautiful German colony. Well, the first stop was at the Chocolate Shop, here we were greeted by a man in typical costume who explained to us the process of making his chocolate and why it is so delicious, they have a very cute souvenir shop with flowers and many shapes with the chocolates, they have a sign that says "I ❤ Colonia Tovar" where most people go to take photos, they look spectacular, there we had hot chocolate because it was cold but a delicious cold not freezing, and we ordered a strawberry cheesecake, what a divine moment.
Nosotros tomamos los siguientes lugares: La Chocolatería, Los Embutidos, La Cervecería, La Casita del Árbol y La Ballesta. En este párrafo voy hablar de mis experiencias en estos lugares para que se animen a visitar esta hermosa Colonia alemana. Pues bien la primera parada fue en la Chocolatería, aca nos recibió un señor con traje típico nos explico el proceso de elaboración de su chocolate y porque es tan rico, tienen una tienda de recuerdos muy cuchi con flores y muchas formas con los chocolates, tienen un letrero que dice "I ❤ Colonia Tovar" donde la mayoría se va a tomar fotos quedan espectacular, ahi tomamos chocolate caliente porque estaba haciendo frio pero un frio rico no de congelación, y nos pedimos un Cheesecake de fresa que divino momento.
After eating we got back in the car and they took us to Gunter's Embutidos, we were greeted by a young man who gave us a taste of the different sausages they sell and told us about the record they have. We bought a skewer to eat more because with the tasting we were obviously a little stung, my friends bought to take away because they are really delicious and it is worth a lot to be able to enjoy those flavors.
Después de comer nos volvimos a montar en el carro y nos llevaron a los Embutidos Gunter, nos recibió un joven que nos dio degustación de las diferentes salchichas que venden y nos hablo del récord que poseen. Nosotros compramos un pincho para comer mas porque con las degustación obvio quedamos un poco picados, mis amigas compraron para llevar porque de verdad son buenísima y vale muchísimo poder disfrutar de esos sabores.
Third stop, the Brewery, in each place you arrive, they give you something to taste and they give you a tour so that you can get to know the product. On this occasion, a girl also attended us in her typical costume, showing us the artisanal process of Cervecería Tovar. We were satisfied with how they explained it to us and we entered the place to have a tasting of each beer, they serve it on a table with several glasses, in this place the photos look like they were taken from somewhere in Germany. Obviously the drinks were delicious but I will leave my opinion based on the one I liked the most at least: Large Coloniera, Blackberry Cider, Mora Coloniera and Porter Coloniera.
Tercera parada la Cervecería, en cada lugar que se llega te dan para degustar y te hacen un tour para que conozcan el producto, en esta oportunidad nos atendió una chica tambien con su traje típico, nos mostro el proceso artesanal de Cervecería Tovar. Nosotros quedamos satisfecho por como nos explicaron y entramos al local a tomar una degustación de cada cerveza te lo sirven en una tabla con varias copas, en este lugar las fotos parecen sacadas de algun lugar de Alemania. Obviamente las bebidas estaban deliciosas pero dejaré mi opinión desde el que más me gusto al menos: Large Coloniera, Sidra de mora, Mora Coloniera y Porter Coloniera.
Already at the penultimate stop it was very liberating to go to a giant tree house, it was truly a cool experience although my friends did not enjoy the heights very much, I loved the landscape, the sound of the birds, the really fresh air at that moment I thanked God too much. As I mentioned before, at the entrance to the tree house they charge you $1 for maintenance (it is not included in the package that the tour sells you).
Ya en la antepenúltima parada fue muy liberador ir a una casa del árbol gigante, de verdad fue una experiencia chevere aunque mis amigas no disfrutaron mucho las alturas, yo ame el paisaje, el sonido de los pájaros, el aire fresco de verdad en ese momento le agradecí demasiado a Dios. Como mencione antes en la entrada de la casa de árbol te cobran 1$ para mantenimiento (no entra en el paquete que te vende el tour).
In the Tour it is the last one in the Ballesta, it is a game place, they also have animals to ride and if you go with friends you can pay everything together, that is what we did, we paid for a plan where we played archery and then with a gun we shoot pellets to knock down some cans. There they sell both national and international drinks, a place to de-stress with a good plan among friends.
En el Tour ya es la ultima en la Ballesta es un sitio de juegos, tambien tienen animales para montar y si vas entre amigos pueden pagar todo en conjunto, eso fue lo que hicimos pagamos un plan en donde jugamos tiro al arco y luego con un arma disparamos balines para tumbar unas latas. ahi venden bebidas tanto nacionales como internacionales, un lugar para desestresar un buen plan entre amigos.
To finish my trip we bought some strawberries and cream that also came with peaches, what a delicious thing, some peaches the size of peaches, a souvenir magnet obviously and cookies from Colonia Tovar, my number one tip is that you should bring money to Visit the places I went, if you want to go on a budget it is also valid because the truth is that everything in the town is wonderful. On the way back, the Driver gave us a tour in the Junquito, here they sell a lot of pork rinds and fried pork, they give you a taste and just by trying you get full, some people ate in the Junquito, the truth is I only got off to see the place and so we got on the bus and they left us in the same place they picked us up. I loved the climate of Colonia Tovar, I wore a coat and hat to protect myself from the cold, it was just and necessary. Para finalizar mi viaje nos compramos unas fresas con crema que también trae melocotón, que cosa mas rica, unos durazno del tamaño de unos melocotón, un imán de recuerdo obviamente y galletas de la Colonia Tovar, mi consejo número uno es que deben llevar dinero para que visiten los lugares que fui, si quieren ir bajo de presupuesto también es válido porque la verdad todo lo que esta en el pueblo es maravilloso. De regreso el Chofer nos dio un recorrido en el junquito aca venden mucho chicharrón y cochino frito te dan de probar y solo probando te llenas, algunas personas comieron en el junquito yo la verdad solo me baje para conocer el lugar y pues nos montamos en el autobús y nos dejaron en el mismo lugar que nos fueron a buscar. Amé el clima de la Colonia Tovar yo llevé abrigo y gorro para protegerme del frío fue lo justo y necesario.
